How to better simulate road sports cars. The P1000 are good for race cars, but road sports cars I use on Assetto Corsa, are no where near that stiffness. Which elastometer combination should I use.

Hi, very interesting format...very well! I have 2 questions: the elastomers for the hydarulic system are the same of the P1000 brake standard? what's the your suggested combination to simulate the rally brakes? Thx in advance

Hi Emanuel! The elastomers for the standard and hydraulic are different in shape but same in the stiffness, for combo reference you can see our elastomer ref sheet on our website😄 As for rally combo, we suggest using the TCR or road car combo as rally has a bigger travel for better control on the brakes, and they do have different brake settings for different course😉

Thanks for the video! The stack order for the elastomers are different on every video I see on the subject. What is the stack order for a progressive soft-to-hard feel? I see harder elastomers on the bottom non-screw cap side going in first on one video, and then I see the stack flipped where the harder elastomers are on the top. Same with the gold spacer. I see some videos where it's on one side of the stack, and then others on the other side of the stack. I was under the impression the gold spacer was to be used up top on the screw cover side to make the handle throw shorter. What gives? Thanks!

Why not springs?

Because of oscilating forces around peaks. Streching down and building up restoring force is non existant in any braking system in automotive. Springs are cheap way to get something done in sim pedals, Simagic got it the right way.

I don’t see an elastomer reference guide for the hydraulic pedal set. I see the p1000 guide. Is it the same? My P1000RS break pedal came with 9 elastomer rubbers installed. Your reference guide references 7 & 8 elastomers. (not 9). Just trying to understand. Thank you in advance.

Could you create a console compatible product lineup. A direct drive base for PlayStation and Xbox. The situation is getting atrocious for console simracers. The only DD option we have is fanatec. And fanatec doesn’t care of their customers. All around, people have problem with fanatec customers service and support. I’ve ordered a loadcell pedal one the 1st September. Until the September 27 , no infos from fanatec, the answer to my mail. I’ve replied since then no answers. Today is October 10. Fanatec closed their call center. They don’t to receive phone call. There is thousands and thousands of people who living hell with their order or the warranty because of low standards control quality. Fanatec is broken. And beside Logitech there’s no other option for DD wheel on ps5.

I suggest keeping an eye on Moza products. They now have xbox compatibility on their new DD R3 model, with luck PlayStation support may come sometime in the future too, fingers crossed 😁👍

Or just invest in a pc, get an alpha u base and p1000 pedal set for racing heaven ❤😂

Console is a fairly big market so you can bet we are working on it, so wait a bit if you are willing?😉 Or get a PC perhaps?😆

@@simagicofficial6890 I bet or at least hope you will give consoles more love (more nm) than the others have,🤔 Power can always be turned down easily! Make an alpha u with console compatibility and were golden 🥳😆 I guess budget and market targeting means otherwise unfortunately, but one can dream 😉

wouldnt springs be a better option since the compression is much more consistent than rubber. rubber has to relax back into forum while a spring doesnt.

My new P1000 came with a variety of elastomers, but also springs for the hydraulic brake.
