I use Sprint for ruby (I don't know how to use hook flicker) and maximize the CD by buying CD boots and that 10 cdr item before having the dominance ice. I usually use tank emblem, either tenacity or concursive blast. I then, build priority counter items for their main damage dealers. I love ruby kit in the team fight but usually end up dying by protecting my teammates and giving vision rather than setting for my ultimate. That is why I really build her tank items and use tank emblem even I am in exp. Lane. Any recommendations if I go damage build?

@@chakadal280 interesting.. xd well if u want more tankiness when in fights, then u can go for vengeance instead, or more stun, take petrify if u used up all your cc skills. Purify is self-explanatory. If you want to try a more focused dmg build but still have her lifesteal, you can use the Fighter Emblem with *Unbending Will* as talent, you can allocate the points into either physical or magic defense depending on enemies, then physical penetration. For the build i use Haa’s Claws, Tough/Warrior Boots, Waraxe, Dom Ice, Endless Battle, Oracle. You have max 40% cdr, balanced defense of both physical and magic, and you have very good dmg especially against squishies. And when ur low hp, unbending will easily helps with increasing ur dmg and lifesteal

For tank build I really do recommend adding 1 haas claw to her so she can regen more hp which in turn makes her much more tankier then a full tank build with barely any regen aka a "virtual hp" if you must.

Soloq is the best way to train your mindset of being a good player, you will know what your mistakes are and how to improve and carry a 1v9 game. I just got MG solo queueing and i will say its one of a heck journey as a tank roamer main and secondary mage.

You can use ult and flicker like franco but you need fast hands and fast reaction too.when you will get enemy in your range you need to use ultimate and use flicker to get them with you(I hope you get what I said)

Here is my build with ruby Non negotiable is haas claw and dominance ice, oracle is also, but can delay Good to have items depending on enemies compo is blade armor and radiant armor/athena shield, given that u have oracle. Most of the time u can simply build defence but the main weapon required is haas claw to keep sustaining fights even in the thick of it. This build can also use tank emblem to support clearing in any position, especially if u arent the one getting many kills, but u can still self sustain.

These are my thoughts as a previous Ruby connoisseur. She's very good, her damage in the early to mid game is pretty decent. She especially excels in the mid game when she has finished building Haa's Claws. Her gimmick is very fun too, not being able to lifesteal with basic attacks but compensate with insane spell vamp is unique. The problem is that there is one item that can make her useless in the late game. Just building any anti-lifesteal item makes her threat neutralized, and with there also only being one item that can increase your healing, it's just not fun anymore. Back then, before her lifesteal nerf, I used her a lot. She kinda fell for me after that.

What i really love about ruby is she really doesn't have hero that can counter her (maybe phoveus, but you still can avoid it by didn't use your passive), and you rarely lose very bad on your own lane because you can heal very fast just from minion wave

Minsitthar can also counter Ruby because of his ult area. Without her passive, she has no extra defense and no mobility to escape. But you can also just sustain with her OP lifesteal unless the enemy has anti-heal (Which I have experienced way too many times and sucks even if I have Oracle).

As a Ruby user, I usually go for a all heal build. Haas Claws, Bloodlust Axe, Oracle, and then the last two items will be defensive depending on enemy lineup. I also have CD boots and a emblem with CD reduction to get 40 CD Reduction

Bloodlust Axe is spell vamp, and Ruby doesn't benefit from it.. maybe war axe or Endless battle might be better (both of them also provide 10% cd), + oracle you have 30% + dominance ice (10%) you have 40% cd. That way you can build tankier emblems and boots

Btw it made me laugh when he messed up his flicker and ult combo you can do a fast ult and flicker to completely catch them by surprise and you can also do a ult and flicker back to your turret so that the turret will do mass amount of damage while being pulled by her 2nd skill

It's always allies 90% because honest review - MM = inspire + same lane till the game ends. (Plays because he got a maniac over the elite) Tank = franko who stays behind mage just to hook. (BECAUSE franko is basically the only hero everyone know 15% gives no vision) Fighter = if he doesn't get his hero picks MM Mage = Only mid fk other lane what lane PROTECT MY MID TURRET NO MATTER WHAT. Jungler = Afk + farm and targets tanks first or just ends up lower lvl + farm than roam. That's my random teammates 99%

Hi, Ruby main with 10k+ matches here Sometime you don't want to dash when performing S3 S2 combo is because if you do there is a little time gap that enemies is not stunned and they can flicker to run. Sometime you also want to do the delayed dash (which is not touching the move key after using skills until after 0.3-0.4 second) to quickly follow mobility enemies since if we dash normally they just go in the opposite way
