With almost reportedly Rs 80 lac crores approx of FII investment in Indian stock market , they are the main force which drives the stock market . If they were to sell just 5% of their holdings , market will crash. Mutual funds are in no position to hold the Indian market if FII's sell large holdings. FII/FPI have larger holding in the Indian market compared to DII's.

Market down because of bad Q2 results and high valuation. So only good Q3 results and lower valuation could take it back up. Q3 results would come in January. Q3 results likely to be good due to increase in spending during festivals like Dussehra, Diwali, Christmas, New Year. Nifty PE multiple needs to be below 20 for it to be undervalued. Right now nifty PE is around 21.6 at 23,454. PE would be 20 at 21,790. At most PE would go down to 19-19.5. I don't see Nifty PE go below 19 for a long time. Make your investment while checking the valuation 👍

I think an event of rate cut will further add to the push up. But RBI doesn't seem to be interested in it. Seems like India's economy is in stagflation, since the earnings of companies are going down but inflation is moving up. This is the worst that can happen to any economy.

Many positives as well 1.Current and Fiscal account deficit are well under control 2.Foreign exchange reserves near all time high 3.Crude Oil price is under control. Mostly it's the food inflation that's the problem, Other inflation seems to be ok. 4.Growth as slowed down a bit but that doesn't mean there's negative growth and chance of recession. Just a small bump. India will still be fastest gowing major economy.
