I am also a Kannadiga who follow more of Telugu movies. Good content. KFI had faced many ups and downs since its inception. In 1950s after Dr Rajkumar’s debut, 2-3 years there were no Kannada movies being produced. All actors including Rajkumar, Narasimharaju, Balanna and others had to travel all over Karnataka, perform theatre dramas and raise money. They raised money and produced ‘Ranadheera Kanteerava’. One of the expensive and also technically advanced movie. During early 80’s, specifically in 1981 Ambarish’s ‘Antha’ got released. One of the best action thrillers. And in 1982 Vishnuvardhan’s ‘Sahasasimha’ got released and again another great action thriller. Vijayan was fight master and fights were amazing. These movies came even before Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Khaidi’ released in 1983. Such was the greatness. There were few movies which were shot simultaneously bilingual in Kannada and Telugu with Rajkumar and NTR. ‘bhookailasa’, ‘Satyaharischandra’ and so on. NTR’s Adaviramudu was inspired by Rajkumar’s ‘Gandhada Gudi’ movie. KFI made India’s first full fledged bond movie in 1968. And had 4 different bond movies. And ‘Nagarhavu’ movie ‘Bare Bare’ song has one speciality. Hero’s shots are in normal speed while only Heroine’s shots are in slow motion. And its in entire song.

as a telugu boy living in Bangalore. actually they are intensed to promote their movies but dont know how. each every film lead actors come to our college to promote what is the point in this I don't know more than half of the people where non kannadigas who cannot speak kannada in our college.they don't have good platform to promote the film and most of the people are interested on other industries so we require more kgfs for its growth

Low budget movies are not getting proper promotion even though they r good, example Shakhahari, blink, juni, avatar purush 2, ddm, achar and co.. So many are there.. very good analysis andi..i lived for few years in Karnataka n i learnt their beautiful language by watching the greatest films of Dr.RajKumar, Ananth Nag, Sudeep etc..I have also realised how they made films on very progressive subjects like women empowerment, caste discrimination, mental health etc even from 1960s..Telugu and Tamil films those days remade or got inspired from several such films..they made many novel based movies which were my favorite like, Triveni maam, director Puttanna Kanagal sir etc..They shud work hard to bring back that kind of glory again..
