I'm training to be a teacher right now guys! We do get training for dealing with SEND children, but you are right - it is not very good. Most of it is learnt on the job. Teaching is really hard, but I have loved every minute of it so far. The good and the bad. I can't tell you how amazing it feels when you get something right for a child, when you finally get through to the withdrawn child at the back of the class, or when an entire classroom is fully engaged with and excited for something you have planned.

1:20 Smith goes from being unable to visualise shapes, to being able to visualise poorly, to having a low IQ. So he just ended up getting worse and worse. However, it does show Smith's low IQ by explaining his misunderstanding of IQ. I've actually done an IQ test, and they not only test multiple areas of cognitive thinking SUCH AS visualisation being one, but there are also entirely different IQ tests.

Fun fact: the IQ test was originally developed as means to measure someone's development. A score of 100 was meant to indicate that a 20 year old was as developed as a 20 year old should be. Over 100 meant that they were ahead of the curve, below 100 meant they were lagging behind. Obviously, things have changed, but it's interesting to see where it came from.

Unfortunately the people you think smell really bad probably know it, DO use deoderant and many other products and it still isn't effective. There are people who just sweat a lot more than others, but now you're adding lazy and inconsiderate to their list of traits. Also most people's breath stinks terrible if you catch a wiff of it including probably everyone who snacks in the yogscast. That really is just from not brushing after eating, only before bed and before leaving the house. Particularly things like milk get smelly pretty quickly. Generally you don't notice it, though, because weirdly people don't breathe on each other in most situations at work. I short I wouldn't get paranoid about whether you smell and don't know it. You can tell.

On the topic of math, ironically I didn't feel like I really understood math until I took video game programming and computer graphics classes in college. Vectors and matrices can be tough to understand conceptually, but when you can show what's happening in a visual form it really helps to turn it from a concept to something concrete. Obviously not everyone learns the same way, but sheesh if my math classes taught me vectors by showing me the acceleration of a character represented by a line as they moved through a game level I'd have paid way more attention in class.

I never use deodorant or antiperspirant, nor do I shower every day. I understand why you think as you do but they don't only have positives. Showering uses up around 8 litres pr. minute of clean water (in some countries drinkable) - even for short showers of a few minutes that's a lot of water if you do it every day. Regarding antiperspirant and deodorant, allergy to perfume is an increasing problem, and antiperspirant doesn't stop the production of sweat but just blocks it which may lead to build-up of waste molecules and it prevents the body from keeping a natural humidity and microbial balance. Not to mention that most deodorants employ chemicals which may be carcinogenic. Enforcing an ultra-hygienic culture rather than learning to accept some natural aspects of the human fysiology may prove to be detrimental to general health in the industrialised world...

Ooh, so much to disect! So, this "Which HAT are you?"-Quiz has shown me, that I'm totally a tubular Smith-Type! Also, Teacher-wise: My school was quite liberal in it's whole structure. Now that meant that teachers were almost like friends, rather than authorities. On the one hand, that led to a few teachers flirting with the girls in 7th (17-ish) and 8th grade (17-18y). On the other hand, one class managed to bully a teacher out of work. But at one point, our Russian teacher arm locked a buddy of mine, so a younger kid could sock him in the stomach. Lastly: Coconuts are an okay source of short term sustenance, as proven by the aptly named coconut cult, a nudist cult established by German August Engelhardt in 1902, but horrible in the long run. There's (almost) no protein per 100g. It's a fun story, really. So yeah. I'm a Smith-Type
