I bought a Sonet 1.5 Cvt/IVT and must say, pleased with it coming from a Tucson 2.0D. They are silk smooth very responsive and fuel efficient. The ivt is clearly the same as in the creta and even kona now aswell as seltos. Have you heard of any of these IVTs failing at a low milage rate? (SOUTH AFRICA) but ours are made in India anyway so should be the same.

Asir Sir , revisiting Seltos is a great move. As more and more Cars are coming in this segment Seltos is continuing to be the best seller amidst the mid-size SUV buyers. As you have mentioned several times Seltos is still preserving the fresh look and no signs of aging will help Kia to have a longer life cycles for their lineups. I think it is because of Kia's extreme sense of styling and design thinking. They are always the front runners in terms of design and styling. I think this review will give Seltos an extended lease of life as this is going to influence lot of mid-size SUV buyers towards this. This car ticks most of the boxes if not all and thanks to the long list of variants offered to suite budget and choice of features customers like to have. Seltos has clearly proved that this is not another rebadged sibling but altogether a different breed by giving a choice to Creta buyers the freedom to select what they like and not to get compromised. Asif Sir, I can see that you have spread your wings and aggressively working on the quality and minute attention to details in your latest videos. You have come a long way and I wish you keep going and giving the viewers different experience every time with continuous improvement in concept and content. The videos on M&M especially on the Scorpio N reviews were exceptionally well with details that no other channel has given. Thanks to your healthy friendship with Velusamy Sir which helped to bring in the engineering knowledge in to the common man's perspective. This info is irrelevant for this video but i purposely brought this hear so that if any of our motofam members missed those videos they should watch them.

This is the benchmarked vehicle in the SUV segment bcoz of their technology and features... Indian OEMs are focused on features and technology bcoz of Kia only... If Kia launched any cars in hatchback and sedan surely they will be the number one india...

It is not just features. Ride handling cost of ownership durability safety too are important. Features come with high cost of ownership. For instance electrically folding mirrors cost more than 10000 for replacement while manual ones just cost about 3000. Key less entry, push button start are for those countries which are really cold (you can’t operate keys with thick gloves).

Unreliable??? Indicas and sumos are still running around. They are better than the fully electronic Skoda or Kia toys. On the safety front, in case of an unfortunate accident, Kias are just tin coffins filled with pure air(yes...they have air filters)

Spent about 5 hours watching several of your videos til 4 AM this morning, Asir. Arguably the best car review vlog for Tamizh audience. For someone like me cutting across languages barriers, I’d put this channel right at the top of automobile vlogs. Your choice of topics, your depth, your honesty is truly refreshing. Keep it up. After much deliberation for 3 years, dithering, and researching on every available car in the Indian market within the 12 to 20 lakhs price range, I finally went with the City and took delivery earlier this week. Watched hundreds of reviews on it and your channel showed itself to me towards my final decision making stage and I can say that your review and the customer feedback review of the City pretty much nailed it for me. I was at 98% on the City and your channel led me to 100%. I’ve been getting slack from folks on why I didn’t choose the Seltos or any of the so called ‘compact SUVs’. I made a conscious decision based on my needs knowing fully well that I’m not at the receiving end of great roads around where I live. Keep up the great work. One last thing. I’d love it if you can make a topic on the mindset shift of mass market moving towards ‘compact SUVs’ purely for reasons like ground clearance. I think there’s a major marketing ploy from the industry here that’s influenced people.

Your going to feel for buying city. Because NVH Levels are worst in its class. Am having first gen creta and civic 2020.Creta’s NVH is much more excellent than the civic road noise entering in cabin. Note creta is diesel and civic is Petrol.

3:00 We do have to agree that this car looks fresh and in a few months, there is a facelift version coming which looks super dope. But, my biggest concern about the seltos is rear-seat space & Safety. It cant fit in 3 people for sure, it was super cramped for us even close the door with 3 people in the rear while nissan magnite does it effortlessly.

Recently, i had a test drive with HTX IVT. power is 115 bhp, no ventilated seats, manual seat adjustment... thats the only concern. Drove GTX DCT, huge power difference, ventilated seats awesome. Rest of the things are good.

Wonderfully review Sir .Recently I purchased this car and this car is good for city driving conditions and bottle neck traffic good comfort in steering U turns .pick up is linear as this is an IVT.highway driving is smooth but you can’t expect a sudden pickup if you want like manual gears .max speed I touched in high ways is up to 140 kmph with ease

When power steering was being introduced in cars, an efficient driver opined that that was dangerous since that was changing the directions quickly, especially if the driver was sleepy. Now....? My opinion is, buy a car for driving and comfort and not for just the features that you may NOT use/need even once, after buying the car.
