He has probably been the other member of that extended family who cares the most about family. The reason I hold Miqula in higher regard is that Rahdan held up the stars to say F you to fate. He picked a fight, and has been winning, against at least 2 seperat outer world gods. My opinion might change if we ever get to see what fighting him at full power could have been like. Rahdan was basically a zombie and holding up the sky when we fought him. Only the creator knows what him when he fought Melinia was like.

I personally don't think Miquella is going to be a boss fight, for the following reasons: He's a Shardbearer, but from the looks of things we won't get his Great Rune from a fight; it seems to be just floating around the Land of Shadow. While this doesn't necessarily mean he couldn't be a non- Great Rune boss, I don't think it would make sense to plan a Miquella fight and then toss his Great Rune somewhere else; it'd be a perfect thematic drop. It's also notable that Ranni, who threw away her Great Rune, is the only living main-game demigod we don't fight. While Miquella probably can fight, all lore indications are that he didn't like to and Malenia did it for him; note that the two status effects he invented, Sleep and Charm, don't directly hurt enemies when they proc. Miquella's eternal childhood has also explicitly hampered his physical capabilities. That shot of Miquella looking at the Shadowtree looks more like a story or endgame cutscene than a boss one. I personally think that if we're going to get a surprise final demigod boss fight, it's going to be Godwyn, because we know he's a fighter, Miquella plans to revive him, and the Prince of Death is entirely too ominous story-wise for what's in gameplay a piece of scenery.

Since the real Miquella is still in child form, he would ether being fighting with a form of Avatar, possibly an incarnation of his sister. Or he does a Resident Evil style mutation. Since we killed his sister, and pretty much all his family. I cannot see a reason that he does not eventually turn on us. Not to mention... this is a Fromsoft game.

I just wrote a whole novel going over all the evidence that points to Miquella being a good guy and not a benevolent god, and I accidentally refreshed the page. I want to die. I was cooking so hard lol. If you're interested in what I had to say, just ask I guess. I'm only doing that again if I know someone gives a damn.

@@coffeeovergaming I would agree. I do believe he’s a good character, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want Fromsoft to pull a fast one on me and throw in one hell of a plot twist that makes him the big bad despite them advertising Messmer as the big bad. I’m a glutton for great storytelling.

She is dead, but that is not something that stops her from coming back. Her powers is based on Fungus and her brother is obscenely crafty
