Shaktimaan shouldn't be revived. Mukesh Khanna is a typical preachy holier than thou uncle and he imagines Shaktiman in his own image. It would simply stand no chance in today's world when the viewers have already watched far more complex and interesting heroes. The nostalgia factor won't work as the generation who may have felt nostalgic are in their early to mid-30s.

I know shaktiman was not just a super hero show but also a nostalgic emotion to most of the Indians eho are in their 20s to 50s but sometimes when we feel like we need it again in cinemas it's actually the age that we miss, not just the show. Leaving it the way it was would be better. There are a lot of other stories and ideas that can be put forward to produce than being nostalgic about something that's risky to be accepted by the audience to be honest.

Kya aisa ho sakta hai jaha shaktiman khatm hua tha wahi se 20 baad ka story dikhaya jaye, shaktiman (gangadhar) ke character ko mystery banake ek non origin story type , Chota shaktiman (yogesh) ko hero/anti hero type dikhake, jo aage jake shadi vi kare use shaktiman ki tarha bachelor dikhane ki zarurat nahi hai. Shaktiman(gangadhar) ko oldman shaktiman ka cameo deke baad mein shaktiman (gangadhar) ko uska origin story dikhaya ja sakta hai, jo aage jake yogesh ka mentor bane...isse mukesh ji khud shaktiman play kar sakte hain.

Look Shaktiman's concept of hiding identity is really copied from Superman but I think its origin story and concept of chakras is original. According to me how Shaktiman hided his identity in the animated series of reliance was good. He worked with a scientist as an assistant and every changes did in the animated series was reliable. So according to me besides of saying Shaktiman a copy you should mention this. Hope movie makers would change possible things as was done in the animated series....

@@utkarsh_kaushik copying not just only means straight up putting the same exact thing but even if you copy the major basics of it. Also you saying just the plot being infuenced suggest that you rather never watched the show. The story, love story, many of the characters, most of the powers, his weakness (paapmani which is basically kryptonite), power being derived from sun, his home in himalayas (copied from fortress of solitude) and even the name itself is a copy. More than half of the show was a copy of the original superman of the 1960s, Xmen and IndianaJones. Even the idea of giving morals and learnings was actually a copy from the original Superman show. Even the action sequences, entrances and many scenes were straight up copied. Hospital scene was straight up exactly copied from X Men. The case episode was exactly copied from Indiana Jones Only a few things were changed except the setup of the show. It was basically a low budgeted Indian version sequence with only generous changes here and there.

Makers of movie should only focus on original part of Shaktiman. Being from new generation I felt that character Of Gangadhar was somewhat cringe. So there should be some changing in movie series.
