I think this should be reported! I know it’s good to show compassion but sometimes things like this should be address properly so that the Teacher will not do that again to other students later on! Teacher should learn to respect and most importantly being a Teacher she can’t bully the minor based on their culture differences, it is racist for sure!

The girl wants to forgive her because I think that the teacher is in an internship period not permanent staff. If she got a complaint then her internships will not be possible to continue and in future, it is difficult for her to get a job as well based on her record. I think she is being too nice! She should file a official complaint to the school administration and then they will take whatever action they think is appropriate (and within their policies). The teacher has to learn a lesson here no matter how bitter it is. Otherwise she will keep behaving this way with other children. The Tibetan girl has to learn how to be assertive and stand up for herself! This is not the time to be "compassionate". She has to set clear boundaries as to what is acceptable and appropriate behavior towards her and what is not acceptable; otherwise this will keep happening to her and by extension to other minority children.
