IF people would just take their hater shades off for just one minute and give credit where credit is due. Stop and think about the numbers he put up after being sacked over 50 plus times, not including knock downs and hurries. He threw for 3,230 yards and 27 touch downs with only 3 picks, so I'm going to say it right now, if his new offensive line allows less than 20 sacks this season, he will throw for over 5,000 yards and break all kinds of records along the way.

I don’t see any reason for ppl to hate him. I liked Deion since he was drafted. He can play college ball & IMHO the only question is whether he’s going to develop into an NFL starting QB. If he has the drive inside him that his father had then he will make it. ALL of these kids are too young to root AGAINST. I’m happy to see any young man do well.

Look where most of his stats came from. He put up good numbers against bad teams, but struggled against good teams. I will give him credit for not throwing INTs, but how many fumbles did he have?

While being drafted top five gives prospects like Trey Lance $34 million guaranteed, Shedeur’s goal should be a second contract giving him generational wealth & a chance at greatness. He’s best served to go to a team that develops young QBs. Mahomes grew up in an MLB clubhouse & knew how to be a pro from day 1. Shedeur can bring a similar experience & work his way into greatness. All this draft talk of trying to be #1 meant nothing for Mahomes & Purdy. They wanted to go to the right teams instead of a place that throws them in without developing them. His work ethic & growth will be his only limit once he’s drafted. It can elevate him or hurt him. I’d like to think he will do very well.

I wonder if people went back to his JSU tape and, watched how he would throw fades, throw frozen ropes etc. He is a monster with a clean pocket and, time. I believe this year they will have more play action, more motion etc. I also believe they will give him more input in the offense and, the ability to audible more. On how he will translate to the NFL. We just saw Jared Goff led the Lions to the NFC championship game and, Brock Purdy in the superbowl. Shedeur can definitely play in the NFL. He has good accuracy, poise, toughness etc. I honestly believe we haven’t seen the best of Shedeur yet. If people really want to break him down you have to look at both his JSU tape and, CU tape

It's not about the team's they beat or lost too, but how did he perform? If Shedeur was the quarterback at Alabama or Georgia last season he would have won the Heisman. Talent is Talent!

If he keeps better then he’ll go as high as he should with invaluable experience. These are all young men so I don’t why anyone would root against any of them. Also, it’s better that young QBs who are going to start even one game in their rookie seasons go to better teams. Falling in the draft worked great for Dan Marino, Aaron Rodgers, Jordan Love, Jalen Hurts & even Tom Brady. A young QB who goes to a better team & has to compete like crazy to get on the field will do better than one drafted high by a crap team & thrown to the wolves week 1 to save a failing franchise. Bad habits hit young QBs with no time to watch & learn. If Shedeur has the drive of his father in the NFL he will hone his craft & learn well. It’s better to not be drafted too young & inexperienced like Trey Lance who made $34M in his rookie contract but might never become a true starter unless he gets some real help.

There is no guarantee that Shadeur will be great. There is no guarantee that he will do poorly. He will either do great or not. No one thought Brady would be great, but was. Most thought Ryan Leaf and others were going to be exceptional, and weren't. You can argue all day today, but only after next season will you be able to definitively say which way it turned out.
