i don't think so, this will be too early to say so. These are the same Ayodhya waasi who made bjp won previously. Things went wrong at many level. Bjp rejected the recommended candidate of yogiji and chose inappropriate candidate. Then opposition spread lies about reservation and bjp didn't counter them. Bjp made relations with rss bitter. And on top of all this bjp voter was too confident and didn't go to vote thinking that "Modiji to jeet hi jaaenge, chalo ham garmi se bachne ke liye manali ghoom ke aate hai.." and non bjp voters voted with full efforts by even coming back from foreign to vote. Bjp and it's voters were overconfident..

It's not fault of Ayodhya's people in reality. To begin with, Bjp didn't loose in Ayodhya, it lost in Faizabad of which Ayodhya is just a part. The voter percentage of people who voted bjp before and made them won previously is still almost same as it was before. Previously the total sum of bjp voters was almost same as the voting percentage of non bjp voters, but since the non bjp voter's vote was distributed among different non collated parties, each of opposition party got less vote then bjp. However, since now those parties made collation, they won. Also, since opposition parties spread lies against reservation and bjp didn't counter it due to overconfidence, that also made some impact. In reality we should admire the loyal voting base of Ayodhya. However the one who truly deserves criticism is bjp because of it's analytical failure. Bjp made poor communication with people on ground, rejected the recommended candidates of yogiji and chose inappropriate candidate, made relation with rss bitter, and didn't analysed the voter base. All this due to their overconfidence.

There was no coordination with the RSS, resulting in improper management on both sides. 3. The IT cell was a complete disaster. People like Dhruv Rathee were creating misinformation with biased facts, and their IT cell did nothing to counter it. These were some reasons I could directly realize as a citizen; there could be many other reasons as well.
