My friend says the same as Tyson. He's written and produced 7 hit songs and says life is back to normal after the song is number 1. He said it's like it never happened. It's just a job. The new scar tissue will have a different texture and quality than the surrounding tissue. Scars form after a wound is completely healed. Fury could've done with a bit more time to fully heal.
