If you can't do fajr salah though do it in respect to allah swt on time you can just like every other salat... Prophet said that allah swt would ask the angels whom did salah and whom did salah after it's time in other words... Allah swt would accept their salat even if it was in other time than the salah time... Those who didn't go fully to pray salat will be in trouble as those who didn't perform ramadan, i dont know if it is one time ramadan or more times... May allah swt have mercy on us and give us his best, paradise and all other good things...

And what do I do? Often times I make this date my last priority until it's almost too late Prior to every trivial matter and every small matter.. God Almighty asks me (and I am just an atom without weight in His great being) to stand before Him I am engrossed in the absurdities of life and its worn-out adornment. Just ask me for a few minutes I display, procrastinate, procrastinate, procrastinate, and then come late as usual. What misery is greater than that? The Almighty calls me (for a closed meeting) between me and him, and I am the one with the need, and he is the rich and generous, and I make it a meeting open to all kinds of thoughts and pleasure. I come with my body, I miss my mind He wants me to stay away from everything for a few minutes, to relax my body and mind, and separate a little from the noise and concerns of life, and broadcast to him, not to anyone else, my complaints and concerns. He is the great creator who is rich in me and my worship and my time is asking me to hear my voice And I'm the one who's procrastinating! Then I come either heavy or in a hurry, as if I were coming against my will! I am the absent present! He, the Most High, wants him to have a special meeting And I make it a cold recitation class, a hollow exercise, and a wandering mind, what more misery than this? Oh God, forgive me every prayer that is not worthy of the majesty of your face and the greatness of your power.

Dar al Ifta Egypt explains below that congregational salah is recommended not obligatory *Is missing congregational prayer a sin?* Question:Someone said that Missing Salah/prayers in Jama'ah/congregation would mean "It is something that genuinely makes his (muslim) blood lawful. It makes sense that the Prophet (saws) would feel the need to ambush them" Did the Prophet (saws) make hukm/judgment or enact a law that whoever would miss the prayer/salah in Jama'ah would be killed or would need to be ambushed? Can you please clarify this and also the hadith about burning house? Answer This method followed in interpreting the texts of shari'ah (Islamic law) that allows shedding the blood of Muslims is erroneous. Rather, it is the method followed by the Kharijites. The Kharijites are the only ones who deviate from this established ruling and work on deluding Muslims and taking them out of Islam. Abdullah ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "They [Kharijites] took verses which were revealed about the unbelievers and then applied them on the believers." [Bukhari) The majority of scholars maintain that congregational prayer is a confirmed Sunnah based on the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) who said, "Praying in congregation is twenty-seven times more meritorious than praying individually". When comparing the congregational prayer to an individual prayer, we find that a person who prays either is rewarded and this proves that whoever prays alone will also partake of the reward. If congregational prayer were an obligation, then a Muslim who prays alone would be considered disobedient, and a disobedient person is not rewarded. Scholars have mentioned that the hadith in question refers to the hypocrites who used to attend the Dhuhr and 'Asr prayers in congregation to be seen by people. However, they abstained from attending the 'Isha and Fajr prayers in congregation when people did not notice their absence. Therefore, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) considered killing them for refraining from attending prayers (regularly). This is the preponderant opinion maintained by the hadith scholar Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani who commented saying, "What is apparent to me is that this hadith was addressed to the hypocrites based on the Prophet's words, “No prayer is harder for the hypocrites than the 'Isha and Fajr prayers" [Recorded by Imams Muslim, Bukhari, At-Tirmdhi, Abu Dawud, An-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah and by Ahmed in his Musnad in a different wording). Imam Ibn Hajar continued that in another narration of the hadith, the Prophet (pbuh) swore that if any of those hypocrites (who abstain from prayers) had known that he would get a bone covered with meat or two fleshy sheep hooves, he would have immediately responded. These are not the characteristics of the believers (who willingly respond to the call to prayer).

*Praying in masjid/congregation is better and recommended but not obligatory* Question Assalaamu alaykum. The majority of the scholars say that praying in congregation is a highly-regarded action of the Sunnah, but that it is not obligatory. This means that though one misses the reward for attending the congregation, one is not sinful. Please mention the evidence based on which the majority based their opinion. Answer All perfect praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger. Many scholars held that praying in congregation is an act of the Sunnah and not an obligation. This view was held preponderant by Ash-Shawkaani in his book Sharh Al-Muntaqa. One of their strongest pieces of evidence is the statement of the Prophet "Prayer in congregation is more virtuous than the prayer of an individual by twenty-seven degrees." [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim] The hadeeth assigns a virtue to the prayer of an individual, so it indicates that the one who prays individually is not sinful, though he misses the greater virtue of praying in congregation. Al-Majmooʻ Sharh Al-Muhaththab maʻa Takmilat As-Subki wa Al-Muteeʻi reads: "Our companions and the majority of the scholars held that performing the prayer in congregation is not an obligation required of each and every Muslim (man), as proven by the hadeeth reported on the authority of Ibn ʻUmar, who related that the Prophet said, 'Prayer in congregation is better than the prayer of a man by himself by twenty-seven degrees.' [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim] They (Al-Bukhaari and Muslim) also cited the version reported on the authority of Abu Hurayrah which reads 'by twenty-five degrees.' Al-Bukhaari also cited the hadeeth on the authority of Abu Saʻeed. The scholars underlined that such a comparison (between the reward of praying individually and in congregation) indicates that both actions are permissible and rewardable. Ash-Shawkaani said, '...and among their evidence that it is not obligatory is the following hadeeth: ‘If you have already prayed in your lodgings and then you come to a masjid in which there is a congregation, then pray with them, and it will be counted as a voluntary prayer for you.’ We have previously cited this hadeeth in the chapter on the legal concession of repeating the congregational prayer. Congregational Prayer: Is it Mandatory? As regards the question, Muslim scholars see that congregational prayer is a confirmed Sunnah. In his well-known book, Fiqh As-Sunnah, the late Sheikh Sayyed Sabiq states: “Performing salah in congregation is Sunnah Mu’akkadah, or a confirmed Sunnah. Many hadiths discuss the virtue and importance of performing salah in congregation. Here are some of them: Ibn `Umar quoted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as saying: “The reward of salah performed congregation outweighs that of salah performed individually by twenty-seven degrees.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim) Abu Hurayrah quoted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as saying: “The prayer of a man in congregation is twenty-five times more superior (in reward) to his prayer in his house or the market - and this is because he makes the wudu’ (ablution) and perfects it, and goes to the mosque with the sole intention of performing salah. He does not take a step without being exalted in degree and having one of his sins obliterated. When he prays, as long as his wudu’ is still valid, the angels continue to pray [for him]: ‘O Allah, bless him. O Allah, bestow Mercy on him.’ He is considered as if he is performing salah as long as he is waiting for the salah.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim) Abu Hurayrah also reported that a blind man said to the Prophet, “O Messenger of Allah, I have no one to guide me to the mosque.” He asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for permission to pray in his house, and the Prophet gave it to him. Then, when he turned to go, the Prophet called him and asked: “Do you hear the adhan (call to prayer)?” The blind man said, “Yes.” The Prophet then said: “Then respond to it [by coming to the mosque.]!” (Reported by Muslim)”

Doing Salat is meant to produce an innate change within the hearts and minds of the believers. It is meant to change the person, the community, the nation, the Ummah for the betterment of ALL MANKIND! Allah does NOT change the condition of a person or nation, until and unless they change themselves. It is a fact that nowhere in the Quran does it state that praying will get you into Jannah!! I am shocked that Dr Zakir who always quotes Quranic verses, went straight to man-made hadith of Bukhari to quote false sayings of our beloved Prophet! There is no punishment! Why? Because Allah swt in the Quran does not give us a punishment. So what right has another human being like Bukhari, to give us an order of punishment. Further, we have the wrong translation of the Arabic word Salah. Did you know that a verse exists in the Quran that: " The birds with their wings outspread, know their Salat." Further regarding the words Sajdah or Sujood: " The mountains, the trees, the Sun, the Moon and the Stars do SAJDAH to Allah." We need to understand the correct meaning of these Arabic/Quranic words, in order to do justice to them. The Questioner was right to ask such a question, but the answer was a non-Quranic answer. Allah uses the term "aqeemu-salat ," this gets translated as "establish prayer." Dear reader, we cannot establish prayer. We either do prayer or carry out prayer or perform prayer. But we can never establish prayer. The word establish comes from establishment, this is an institution, an organisation, A GOVERNMENT. What Allah swt is telling us to do is to ESTABLISH A GOVERNMENT, A SYSTEM OF LIFE THAT FULFILLS THE BASIC NEEDS OF ALL PEOPLE. The rightly guided Caliphs did indeed set up such a system! Sadly it has been replaced by " establish prayer." And ever since we as muslim have been relegated to last division!! The Glorious Quran states: " Man gets nothing but what he works hard to achieve." In other words, no amount of praying will get us even our basic survival needs. Allah will not come down and put food on your table! We need to see to this. No harm in praying, it is our connection with our Creator. The Arabic Root meaning of Salat comes a term that means " to follow closely, just as two camels in a race are neck and neck and its hard to tell the winner. Point is, What do we follow? Al-Quran of cause! What Allah has given us is A COMPLETE BOOK OF GUIDANCE THAT TEACHES US HOW TO LIVE OUR LIFE AS MUSLIM AND HOW ONE DIES AS MUSLIM! Remember- Allah does not change the condition of a person, it is we who make the change.

Allah has edicted us to perform Salah five times a day. Those who deny the Hadith (only follow the verses of the Quran) have Ayats 5 times to enjoy Salah in the Quran. Reference: Surah Hud, Verse no. 114; Surah Toha, verse no. 130

There are lots of those who don't pray, and they have more successful and enjoyable lives than I do. Because of this, I lose my motivation to pray. I mean, I'm not sure I understand the point anymore. I'm 45 years old and not married, no social life, often slighted, while those who don't pray as much as I do have all the success and respect. So why do I have to be singled out if I get careless with it every now and then?

Zakir did not actually answer the question troughly. From being together is born power. Once someone asked Muhammed s.a.v. , I want to live a peaceful alone life in a secluded place where there is no people. The prophet said NO. The more we stick together as a society the stronger we are. If you part your way from others, then you shall loose the power and authority that comes with being together.

What is this, surely praying jummah is not fared and “burning down the houses of people who don’t pray” is not an authentic and realistic thing to claim is a hadith (very disgusting in my opinion), this is a very backwards mindset. And who chooses the order in which the sins are sorted? Allah didn’t make such a list for us, nor did any prophet, and it is not up to muslim scholars to decide the order in which sins are sorted nor is it their job to decide what is a sin and what is not, I think all major sins are innately known by humans and taught without the need of religion. It is almost sickening to see muslim scholars and sheikhs deciding our religion for us 1700 years after death of prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Sheikhs and Muslim scholars don’t even accept that we are living in the 21st century, as they don’t want to accept change, we have developed and changed as a society - as a whole and having a conservative/ traditional mindset does little to no good for the religion of Islam in our time.
