I love my Alliance!!! Was torn between Grand Design and Alliance at first. Alliance has never said no to any issue. Also, their interaction is amazing. You need to go visit Alliance and meet Bill Martin. You will be sold!!!

Great video Miller in Motion, we have a 30RLS, Alliance customer service is over the top, such a great team top to bottom, side to side! I agree the DEALER is the weak point, do your homework on who you buy from!

Thanks for another informative video! We are still in the research phase for our rig so I have no first- hand knowledge to share with you. Iirc, the Brinkley units are not as wide as Alliance and GD. (Something for you to keep in mind during your search).

I have had a Valor 37v13 for a little over a year now. I absolutely love it. I was at the national rally and should have spoken to you but didnt want to interrupt. I think I will be a lifelong Alliance FamAlly member, the service is incredible, it feels like the Brady’s and the entire Alliance staff truly care about the product and the Alliance reputation and always try to do the right thing. I cannot speak about other toyhauler manufacturers, but I can say that Alliance is right up there if not a step above Entegra Coach with their customer support.

Looks like you had a great time. When we were shopping we really enjoyed Alliance. When we purchased we did our research on dealerships and found a good one. Unfortunately it’s over 1 hour a way with traffic. The joys of Houston. It takes over an hour to get anywhere from the suburbs.

@@keithg5722 We ended up purchasing a Forest River Vibe. So I guess I was not clear in my comment. We purchased from Demontron RV in Spring Texas. Sorry for any confusion since we didn’t buy an Alliance RV.

I am not experienced with Alliance, but can honestly say that I have been very pleased with my choice of Grand Design and if I didn’t know this video was about Alliance, I would have thought they were talking about Grand Design. I would say they are so similar. GD has been wonderful with every interaction.

We are glad y'all have had a good experience with Grand Design, I'd love to hear more about some of the things that you experienced to come to that conclusion. I say that becuase we have had less than a great experience with them, and becuase of that they are in 3rd place of 3 manufactures that we are considering in a new Toy Hauler. Thanks for watching!!

@@Millers_in_Motion our 5th wheel had a leak above the door that did not appear until about 4 months being full time due to not having much rain until then. Anyway, we called and opened a ticket with GD, but could not get it to a dealer before heading to the National Rally in August 2022. While there, they checked my roof and attempted to fix it. The Manager of the service department told me to let them know when it rained if it still leaked. It did and long story short, they got it into the factory and completely replaced the roof and so many other little fixes that weren’t even an issue that we knew of yet. Mostly cosmetic for the most part. They were very communicative throughout. I also had my kitchen faucet leaking and they sent me a new one without me having to go to a dealer. I feel like I could call them anytime and they would be willing to help. It’s sad that not everyone has the same experience. I was actually curious as to your experience since I’ve been watching for a while and know you have a Solitude. Weren’t Alliance and Brinkley started by GD folks? It would stand to reason they would be similar and they may end up better in the long run. 🤷‍♀️ Right now, I’ll keep my GD as it’s too expensive to consider the loss on trade even if I wanted to.

Hi Ryan. You made the comment that Alliance shut down the factory to take care of the owners at the rally "Who does that?" Not sure about the RV dealerships (I'm still on my first RV) but anyone in automotive dealerships will tell you the salesman sells the first vehicle, the service department is responsible for follow-on sales.

you asked for our opnion! LOL I like the Alliance and me and my wife are going to get one. I have only known of a few times when Alliance as a company has not come thru for its customers. I am sure that will increase over time. I do believe in that they are doing thier best to be the best in customer service and building great products. Grand Design make great products but are not so high on the customer service index as Alliance, but that could also be due to the ammount of units they have produced ( they have been around longer). Brinkley is so very new I have no data to say they are better or worse then the other two companies. My conclusion! ( you did ask). If Alliance has a floorplan that you like, it would be the safest bet to purchase one. I do love the looks of the Brinkley toyhauler, but definatley do not have enouph data to recommend that brand at this time. Hope this helps in any way! P.s Love your channel.

The good bad and ugly is everybody will have their own opinion and never will everybody agree. This is a shot in the dark picking an rv. I have owned a solitude for 5 years and pulled it about 30,000 miles now and just love it. We considered getting the new 394rk solitude and now I see certain year models have serious structural issues under the kitchen so now I’m not sure but I will say I will for sure look at alliance and not only because of this video alone but because I’ve done a lot of research. The real truth about all of them though is they are going to breakdown, some are going to have major issues but that’s the rv life.

Great information for us since our dealership is getting out of Alliance products. They say poor quality and too much trouble. I wonder if it's because we're in Canada and Alliance don't have enough service techs here. We're looking for a toy hauler so we're closely watching your journey. Thanks!

Interesting! Allaince doesn't have mobil techs they just utilize Independent techs and pay them directly for warranty issues. I know we had a dealership here that Alliance terminated the contract due to issues with the dealership. I don't normally take a lot of what the dealerships say say about these things to serious only becuase contracts end and there are a ton of reason why one might not be re renewed. Now one thing I have learned in deals like this is follow the money, 9/10 times the money didnt work and that's why a deal ended! I really liked Alliance and really believed in the company and support but the Alliance dealer really spoiled it for me. At the end of the day dealer support does matter and I had zero confidence in the company they chose to align themselves with in my area. And as someone said in another post that they have never been turned down for support by Alliance. I can certainly see that but I have never been turned down by Grand Designs either.

We too are considering GD G21 and a valor 21t15 along with a Stryker 2313. Just found out about the Alta kh2400 very similar to the valor 21t15 and just now heard of Brinkley. I googled Brinkley and rv trader and filtered $60k or less and nothing popped up. They’re very expensive rigs. Even if Brinkley is better then alliance, being compared to Brinkley and the price point the valor was I’d go alliance. These brinkleys are like purchasing a house. Way over priced. If they are better then the alliance , it’s not by much. Price don’t reflect it in my opinion.

Brinkley makes a great product but your right they are pricy! Also, i also like to see a new manufacturer "get into the thick of it" before purchasing. We actually made the purchase from Alliance a few months ago on a new TH (44V14) and couldn't be happier!

I find it interesting that not one owner mentioned the words “quality” and “craftmanship”. I toured a Valor and liked it at first until I started to look at details. The two words mentioned above can’t be mentioned when you’re describing these rigs unfortunately. We have settled for mediocre craftmanship and think it can be offset by customer service that’s why manufacturers won’t up their game. I was starting to get into Alliance until I saw a youtube video of the first couple you interviewed, they (being Alliance Brand Ambassadors) took the time to go into a Brinkley RV in a show and in their video trash talk all over it saying how Alliance was better than Brinkley and that Brinkley had no chance. A VERY distateful video full of cringe from those two which made me lose respect for Alliance as a brand for allowing this and the two youtubers for acting so unethical. My two cents

So we are good friends with Chris and Martha (Venturesome Couple) and I honestly don't think they have made a Brinkley Video (I just quick checked their channel). Now they're not the only ambassadors so maybe it was a different channel? WE don't follow them all just our friends from RV unplugged (Venturesome and Irene Iron Travels) We did touch on it quickly in our FL RV Supershow Video, and just released a Brinkley factory tour. I don't have anything negative to say about Brinkley except there new, new things just need time to see how they work out! Now we currently own a Grand Design Solitude and we have been less than impressed, we have accepted the all RV's break as long as the company stands behind them, and we had issues getting grand Design to stand behind ours. So in our search it's down to Alliance and Brinkley. I do agree with you that we (customers) have been settling with the mediocre, and if we a re louder or choice to nit settle we can help adjust the mentality. As for us, we are in the process of finalizing our new RV purchase as we speak and we are actually turning down a few company's ambassador offers so that we can remain neutral.

I completely agree with you. Any RV is going to have issues and I really like your videos. The video that they made was at a show, and went into a Brinkley Z3100 and went through it comparing how the Alliance was better. Ultimately, even Alliance commented on the video saying that they respected Brinkley and yadah yadah… I’m pretty sure they must have taken the video down but I saw it myself. That was unethical in my opinion, I’m still torn between Grand Design and Brinkley for full time living so I’m heading to your latest video to see your thoughts. Great vids

Please.. not another channel with a friggin Alliance. Rude as hell designers ZERO data when asked to support their claims on the obnoxiously loud AC "system". Cookie Cutter floor plans Which sucks because they have an amazing build quality. But the community is "strong".. yeah.. strongly toxic unless your a fanboi of Alliance. My experience at every dealership within an hour of their factory, their factory reps, and their engineers has been nothing short of SH#*%Y. It truely sucks because they do make a wonderful rig on the inside.. but they need to actually INNOVATE, not duplicate. As for your "company shut down".. you haven't been to a FROG rally have you? Same thing. Jayco Rally.. same thing. Grand Design Rally.. Same thing. That's the STANDARD for a rally, and it should be. You want to step up.. go look at a Brinkley. Nothing like them on the market.

So we don't currently own an Alliance but they are in the Mix for a new rig (Toy Hauler) we are searching for between Alliance, Brinkley, and Grand Design. We did go and chat / tour the Brinkley factory during our time in Elkhart. It's actually the video right after this one! At the end of the day we are going to pick a rig that works best for us. They all have the pros and cons, and we are weight them all currently. Thanks for watching.

So we currently have a Grand Design Solitude 390RK, love the rig but the customer services has been difficult to work with. The first few layers when you call in customer service are just really difficult to work with, if you can get through that then they’re great but it takes some effort. Our only issue with the Brinkley is on the Toy Hauler side there is only 1 floor plan, quality is amazing but a brand new company makes me a little nervous still.

@@Millers_in_Motion I can agree.. a new manufacturer gives me pause as well. Our big one has been checking depreciation vs cost to buy.. then floorplans. We absolutely HATE the standard island kitchen merged living room floorplan. We're focused on front living rooms and/or rear kitchens. The Rockwood 8291CL is a front runner for us, along with the Reflection 370FLS. I've seen some things with a few of the 370's I'm not a fan of (poor welds mainly).. but they're still on the list. When people talk about a new RV company "innovating".. I'm not looking at the build process innovation, but the end product. Neither Brinkley or Alliance has innovated floorplans, or even appliances. And it would be so simple.. build in a desk for a full size computer.. get rid of the useless oven .. make frameless windows standard.. azdel sidewall. The list is huge.

Yea we have some friends that had a Forest River product and lets just say they got screwed when their frame broke so I I'm a bit biased there. As far as innovating, I'm looking at a better towing experience, we drive long days and I am putting more stock into a tradition floorpan that has good weight balance distribution and towablility. I know there are some manufactures that are starting to offer more options like desk and things, they just have to be special ordered.

Meteor; and 2024 Allisnce Drklta262rb0Nooooo…..don’t buy Alliance. I did, but wish I hadn’t! I own the first 262rb sold in Missouri. Zero customer service. Poor design, engineering, construction, etc. there will NEVER be another Alliance in my driveway. I own four campers (1946 Spartan Manor; 1950 Spartan Royal Mansion; 1964 Fireball Meteor; and 2024 Alliance Delta 262rb): the Delta has the worst construction of them all.

Talking about customer service so much(to me) just means that things Break a Lot and you need C.S. to fix them !!

Yeah, because there is no such thing as an RV that doesn’t break. They are thinly built for weight purposes and they bounce down the road for thousands of miles. Also, they’re built by imperfect human beings. Sometimes good customer service just means “I had a question and they either answered it immediately or they found the answer and got back with me”.
