I'm about to start my nursing degree in September, but I've already been saying the past year that I want to be a cardiac specialist nurse in honour of the death of my sister from DCM in 2015. I want to become a specialist and then either do a PhD in Cardiology Research, or become a nurse researcher around cardiology. I want to investigate how my sister's heart became so badly affected by general influenza and what caused the common winter flu to then make my sister, at the time back in 2003, to have the worst heart in the UK and put immediately at the top of the transplant list

Thankyou for this video! I do question if nursing is a good idea with all of the current political issues. But nursing is so important and i can tell from your bubbly personality that you are a great nurse!
