So moving to hear the journey of Bhrigu, as he seeks to understand the nature of Bhraman. His father and guru, Varun, does not make it easy and Bhrigu plunges deeper and deeper in seeking... until he comes to finally discover the nature of God is Bliss itself -- Sat Chit Ananda. Swamiji compels us to hunger to comprehend this Truth. It isn't that one merely finds bliss IN God, but rather, that true Bliss IS God... Himself. May my own, and all of our seeking, reap such rewards as Bhrigu's. Thank you Swamiji for always sharing so generously with us.

Swamiji so beautifully says that when we seek or search for happiness, we are actually searching for the bliss or God whether we know it or not. The true happiness that our soul is searching (Sat-Chit-Ananda), is infinite and unending whereas happiness associated with material things is subject to satiation. Thank you, Swamiji!

Swamiji narrated Bhrigu’s katha. Bhrigu eventually described God as one who emanated the universe and into whom the entire universe will merge. Swamiji says that God cannot be understood intuitively but through austerities because he is sat-chit-ananda. God’s body is made of bliss. In fact, God is bliss. Thank you, Swamiji!

Yajur veda has Krishna yajur veda with 3 sections and in there in the Brighu valli is the outcome of introspection sadhana of Sage Brighu being explained so well and simply by Swamiji. It almost seems as if, Sage Brighu traveled through the 5 koshas. Outermost Annamayi kosha, his dad sent him back for Sadhana. He then found the next kosha = Pranmayi kosha. Sent again, he discovered Manmayi kosh, then he encountered intellect or Vigyaanmayi kosha. It was at the 5th attempt where he found Anandmayi innermost kosh where parmatman resides with soul. Thus nature of god is Anand/ bliss and soul being a minuscule particle of anand seeks bliss eternally but opposite direction. We need to go towards inner god for that bliss not outer mayic world. Dear Shankar Prasad ji, Swamiji has explained in various lectures that our true and only relationship is with God and God alone. God includes His Names, Pastimes, Forms, Virtues and Abodes and God-Realized Saints as all these are One. A Guru must be a God-Realized saint. We are likes waves in an ocean. A wave's true relationship is with the ocean alone, and not other waves. They may merge briefly, but will eventually separate. So, a true soulmate can only be God. However, while we live in this world, we do have to take care of our worldly responsibilities, but without any attachment. Attachment must only be with God.
