In terms of funding you're correct if NE gets more funding it can be easily like Shanghai or tokyo cause people there are more in development, tradition and pollution free. But Bihar is worst I'm from their. The situation has really improved. We now get 20 hours electricity a day. It's just industries or some other things for employment gets open then it will easily get developed more fastly

That area was Nepal before conquered by gorkha king. Before then it was a small state like northern part were. There were small states like Gharwal, kumoun, tiara river and king prithivi narayan shah was conquering all those near by states to make the large and powerful state so they could resist and defeat British. If British weren’t in Indian subcontinent then Nepal would be much bigger now and much richer. Gorkha were moving and conquering every states they set foot in but then gorkha lost the last battle with almighty British. It’s amazing that one thing can change the whole future.

Chinese have any eye on it and cutting off will be twisting entire force group in Assam from supply line.
