I’ve been working out in extremely disciplined fashion since I was 15 years old. I’ve done Ironmans, ultramarathons, train in calisthenics at a high level, eat extremely well, and generally dedicated a ton of time optimizing my nutrition plan to stay lean. Currently do about 6-8 hrs/wk of calisthenics, 8-10 hrs of aerobics (cycling, running)/wk, on top of day hikes/climbs on weekends. I also engage in solo alpinism/mountaineering at a very high level as well. This is the central motivating factor for staying this fit. I did a few cycles of “pro hormones” back when they were legal in 2005. None since then. I used to lift weights, and weighed 210 at my highest. Now, 165 with a constant 8-10% body fat level, and just train with bodyweight (except weighted pull-ups) I kept all this up while graduating with honors with a PharmD. Some of us are very motivated, high performers, my friend. None of what I have now is the result of PEDs. The pro hormone cycles added strength/muscle way back in 2005, I suppose. But again, was 210 at my peak then, and I’m far more fit overall now, with a higher strength/weight ratio. I should add that saunas are a good practice in my opinion for most athletes, if they have the time. Some compelling research behind the benefits, and may help whoever is using “tren” stave off heart failure for at least a little while. Though they should just stop the gear. Function and longevity are my focus. Not unnecessary muscle mass that doesn’t help performance in my sport. Besides having the broad shoulders and large back from calisthenics/climbing, in dress shirts that aren’t tailored, no one would be able to tell how fit I am. The only PED I use sparingly is dexamethasone to aid recovery, considering that my job as a pharmacist makes getting adequate rest/keeping stress levels down difficult. Though that is a once or twice a year thing. Another sauna benefit? Compensatory parasympathetic nervous system response. One of my strategies for managing work stress. See the picture here? Type A pharmacist has looked into his shit, in depth.

Mainly from the younger crowd, who has grown more competitive, but in that douchey way I don’t like. Another secondary purpose here, is to be an example for patients, who take my advice more seriously when they can clearly see that I “walk the walk.”

The term eligible bachelor seems to no longer apply to a hard-working young man who lives paycheck to paycheck and rents his dwelling. He has to have disposable income and his own home. If a guy has roommates or lives with other family, forget about it. Young women will see him as a loser. We have become so ungrateful as a society that even a man who provides his labor for either the availability of goods or services, he still isn't appreciated. Instead, he is looked at as competition for everything and even things people don't prefer.

I just find it weird how much society hates single people in general. We're conditioned to think that our whole main goal in life is to be in a relationship with someone and have kids. Society makes it seem as if your life has no meaning if you aren't trying to find a partner and have kids. In society's eyes, wtf are you living for if you don't wanna do any of those things and it's just crazy to me.

Single woman here. Good advice to work on yourself and be patient. Social media is rough. I feel like I’m being compared to hot IG models all over the world and it seems like everyone is jaded. I prayed, trusted God, and stayed pure but it didn’t equate with finding a good man. I think I’ve been approached 2-3 times in 10 years in person and I don’t drink or go to bars….it’s tough out here for a good woman, too. I’ve held my standards but haven’t found a man who is aligned and done the work, too. Like everyone else, all I can do is level myself up in every way I can. Best of luck to everyone.

I think women caring why a man is single has gone way down since 20+ years ago... For example in 2004 a woman could be genuinely puzzled why a 6/10 looking 30 year old man has been single for so long with no kids... Now a days women don't find this puzzling at all and don't care..
@bigneiltoo6 ай бұрын
It's simple what happened. Women used social media to search a wider radius and found better men, dumping their local men in an instant. But they were sharing those men with more women in proportion to how much hotter he was and how much bigger their search radius was. Naturally, those men with lots of women (by definition) aren't holding doors for her anymore. So women are in the same boat only getting treated half as good by a guy twice as hot with twice as many other women.

I've never felt shamed for being single, although it does get annoying at family reunions when people ask why you aren't married and have kids yet. I will say this though, which I believe applies to both men and women: When you are single you have peace, freedom, a generally drama free life, and (if you've made wise decisions) you have financial stability. That is what a potential romantic partner is competing with, in other words, what do they bring to the table? Many of us, myself included, have looked at what is out there and we're simply not interested. We've watched what has happened to our friends and we don't want that for ourselves.

As someone with a different outlook on life, I recently started following you. I always recommend that people in your sphere shift more toward personal anecdotes rather than conjecture; give yourself and others a platform to discuss abuse by women, not just advantages they have in society. Likewise, focusing on the hatred for single men should hinge less on women by pointing them out and more on awakening men by pointing out how much society hinges on their decisions which is why people use you like a puppet or a voodoo doll.

I enjoy watching a young man's perspective on this topic. I believe that the court system has a big role in men abstaining from marriage. I am speaking from experience. All a woman has to do is say that they are not happy anymore and file for a divorce. It will devastate a man mentally and financially. It happened to me and 90 percent of my friends and starting over from scratch at 50+ is not fun at all. My suggestion is to work on yourself by getting an education, getting in prime physical shape, making money and establishing yourself BEFORE marriage and document everything so it won't be a marital asset.

I wasn't really into her but she was nice enough and I finally wanted the experience. It ended with her having wanting her ex-husband over to make him jealous. I guess I boosted her self esteem, simply by being younger than her. I felt used and wouldn't have that so I never saw him and walked. Admittedly I used her to, for my first sex. That was ugly of me, what she did was ugly of her. Both lowered my opinion of us, humans. In general, girls/woman always were cruel to me, ridiculed me and I saw/see them being that way to other guys too. What are we looking for? Intimacy, love, belonging. Yet there is all that talk about ones and the others value, what we bring to the table, yadda, yadda, yadda. It's a cold, cynical, self centered world we live in. You want to be loved, you got to meet conditions. Prefetched ideas. Attraction. What got that all have to do with love? Isn't love about giving, not getting? Wouldn't I give my all and everything for the one I love? But I won't love this one, or that one, or that one and that one won't be attracted to me, value me, see me fit etc. etc. etc. I'm what they called a "softy" in 80s. Humble, polite, shy (the latter not so much anymore), I have qualities, I have faults. That's true for all of us. I gave up looking for a partner in my mid 30s. I just couldn't take all that rejection anymore. I was tired of making a fool of myself and the heartbreaks. They say you just have to keep on looking. Like all those girls I had a crush on mean nothing. Like my feelings towards them meant nothing. Like they are just interchangeable. Like they mean nothing to me. If that was so, why even bother with them? Why bother with the next one? I don't desperately just need SOME woman. I don't desperately need to end singlehood. I'm very much okay having alot of alone time and my peace. But when I'm interested in someone, I sacrifice all that and only for her. Not just "someone." I not just only feel that way, I feel this what love and attraction are about. I should MEAN something. She should MEAN something. (Capital) I should. Lotsa of shoulds here, I guess I'm and idealist. A romantic. I think one ought to. I can't do this any other way. I don't FEEL anything any other way. It's not WORTH IT any other way. I don't understand this world. It's like people get together just for the kicks. To boost their ego. What has that all to do with love? I don't understand this world. I don't much belong here.

I see it a blessing to be single. If it’s my season. It’s my season and I love it.

Ive felt this A LOT. Im still being patient and ive felt the hate. That itself has been damaging and now im trying to get into a position where i can heal. I can be ready, but all this hate needs to be healed first.
