Interesting in this, my answer is linear change in input proportion to linear change in output. Sinusoidal have smooth change in it in universe. You must analysis by multiple operator ever device consume power(shake of easy P:VI) not only current or voltage, so you must consider it. Final target : everything in the universe not possible of conclude with mathematics because of unknow origin and end.

Dear Ravi, this is one of the beautiful question which i have ever come across so far. I must say, you are actually thinking exactly the way we wish to convey the content. Now, coming to the answer, you might not be aware of the fact that, AC is originated much before the DC generator. You may watch why 50hz full length video to get the more details.

I think Faraday invented the concept which states that emf will be induced when there is a relative motion bw conductor and magnetic field. He didn't design any generator what we r using today.
@akshayc41454 жыл бұрын
Faraday was an.. experimentalist. He only got an elementary education..all his inventions comes from experiments, after Orstrd proved the relation bw electricity and magnetism.. Faraday tried and succeeded to build the first electric motor..and later the first form of generator(Faraday disc), an earlier form of a transformer (explaining mutual induction)..then an electric dynamo(dc generator)...and also, there was the famous laws of electromagnetism... explained with the help of his own field lines concept.. Later Maxwell gave mathematical explanations to the same.. His other inventions included benzene, principle of refrigeration,one of the founder of electrochemical cells and even the first rubber baloon..

Please explain V=VmCOS(wt+π)
@powerelectronicsguy26224 жыл бұрын
What man! This is not the answer. It is bcz a magnet(usually on rotor) in generator is cutting the coils (usually on stator) such that angle of cutting magnetic keeps on changing with an angular velocity. Now think of a vector (here flux) is rotating and its resultant or shadow on x-axis(voltage) is changing with time. If we plot this voltage wrt time, we get a sinusoidal wave. Thus generator voltage is sinusoidal wrt Time.
