Why so lovely, Moka?

I bought a female Ring-neck dove today at the Magnolia Bird Farm and I showed him the new member through the window. He started to act very different and more affectionate towards me it seems. He's never cooed like this around me in the aviary or let pet him like that. Must be his way of saying thank you?
I still don't have a new camera so I had to use my sister's Kodak mini thing.

Very cute! Especially when he cooing in your hand. Dove's inflated neck is so soft and fluffy, and it's interesting to feel cooing sound inside this bubble. The bird really trust you, if allows to touch his inflated neck.

i have a female dove not this specie and when she was ready to have a pair she was very friendly with me. She is still now.Whenever i go to feed the chickens she is always on my shoulder. I love doves
