A great response to Ann. We need to let our friends, family, people we come in contact with and even ourselves, know this same response.

The sabbath is a blessing

In Japan, the name of the Sabbath on the Japanese calendar is this kanji 土 = Do. But if you use a little bit of your imagination you will see a cross placed on the ground. Simply a coincidence? Perhaps.

In over 106 countries they say Sabbath instead of Saturday. Eg. - Sabbado in Spanish, Subtotal in Russian, Sabbaton in Greek.

That should be Subbota in Russian

The question asked about John 3:13 is why "the Son of man who is in heaven" is present tense. He is obviously on earth so why does it say "is in heaven" rather than "was in heaven"? Thus the question, was Jesus in both places?

The one thing that they forgot to tell you and is that Jesus suffered and actually felt your pain! He felt every sin that ever hurt anyone so he knows exactly what you went through! And then don't forget how much he suffered before he died when he was praying in the garden before he was betrayed he sweated blood, now medically speaking he should have died from that but of course the angel came and gave him back that energy he lost from the agony a being separated from his father but then he actually was scorched twice and that's not just whipped, look up what scorching is. One of Walter Veith sermons fully describes the suffering he went through for you and hold on to that! Now, to remember what he went through for us read Matthew 27:24-54. Read that every day when you wake up and pray that God be with you through what you're going through as God was with Jesus

Every time they rewrite something it becomes less correct !! Even the King James is not totally correct!!!

But closest to the original. And it is not copyright, except in England, LOL! For a new translation to be copyright, it must be at least 10 percent different from other translations. Now you understand why later translations become less and less reliable.

Totally agree with you on the mater of the King James' bible: the best English translation we have. Yes, there are one or two grammatical and punctuation errors but these do not affect any doctrines (and the so-called modern translation are much worse with many verses missing). Plus, the KJV is able to differentiate between you (singular) and you (plural) that we may think is old-time. Thee, thine, thou, etc. indicate singular (begins with "t") while ye, your, etc. indicate plural (begins with "y"). For example: Jesus speaking to Nicodemus - "(KJV) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." meaning, "Do not wonder when I say to you, Nicodemus, Everybody must be born again". Compare that with, "(MKJV) Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again." Some of the meaning is lost. Oh! one more thing: you may hear Bible scholars refer to Wescott and Hort Greek translation as based the oldest manuscripts (codex sinaiticus, vaticanus, and alexandrinus), and from which most of the newer versions are translated. That is true: they are the oldest but based on their origin, they are not the most reliable). But many bible scholars use the false equation : oldest = most accurate. The Sinaiticus and Vaticanus codecs were not complete and they have hundreds of discrepancies between them. The KJV is based on Textus Receptus (from Corinth).

15:46 even in arabic, Saturday is translataed as Al-Sabt. It is derived from the root verb "to rest or hibernate", which translates in arabic as "sabata". Almost identical to the hebrew word "Shabbat"
