Also, a lot of businesses in the Philippines, big and small, are owned by foreigners. Most of us Filipinos are not entrepreneurs (that includes me). When we Filipinos go overseas (as OFWs) , we are almost always the employees of the citizens of the foreign country. When foreigners come to the Philippines, we Filipinos are their employees. It is sad but that is the reality.

I'm a Filipino and wanted to visit Israel in December 2022, unluckily, immigration officers did not allow me to enter their count and I was sent back to the Philippines. There was a flight crew who held my passport and wasn't allowed to talk to anyone. I worked as a teacher for 11 years overseas, started my business in the Philippines in 2020. Israel was my dream country coz I wanted to see the birth of Jesus Christ on the Christmas holidays. But faith did not allow me. Israel for me is my pipe dream country.
