I was born in to Christian home. Was practicing Christianity until I met a muslim friend. Through him, his love for Allah and dedication to prayer. I loved to be come a muslim. I ask him to teach me how to pray the 5daily prayers. He gave me a Quran translated in eglish. I came online to search what Islam really mean. And the belief. Here I found a video on KZbin by Mufti Menk. The massage # WHAT IS ISLAM ALL ABOUT# . In fact I cried! If this is it, then i was lost, Every day I look for another massage and listen to Quran recitations, Alhamdulillah I went to the mosque by a friend and said the shahada 5 months ago. Mashallah I pray 5times a day. I'm now a proud Muslim lady. Alhamdulillah I'm now Happy.

My son is laying down and me being a smart mama , always play videos like such and the best part is i love when my son makes a coment agreeing with Mufti Menk, it shows me he pays attention very clearly even though i put these videos on play for myself. As i was growing up due to lack of knowledge by my parents would say everything is basically a sin but when i would question it , i never got an answer. Soon enough everything seemed hopeless, but Alhumdullila due to schollars like Mufti Menk, Yasir Qadhi, Dr Zajir Naik, Noaman Ali khan etc i learned alot and as my son grew older i taught what i learnt and Alhumdullila my son is now 20 years old and follows Islam from his heart not because he is forced by me as a parent Ma Sha Allah. Asalamu Alaikum mufti Menk, Firstly, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, for all the excellent information about our faith Islam, I learned so much already, and have shared this knowledge with other brothers and sisters, as well as non-muslim friends and associates! But mufti Ismail I am leaving you this comment today, to seek your help in addressing this video segment I saw yesterday on KZbin called Islam the untold story by Tom Holland. Mr. Holland tried his best to prove that the message of Islam was merely a recollection of old & new testament stories, and our prophet was simply a myth because there were no mentions of him by early European or Jewish historians! He is basing his facts mostly on early Jewish & Byzentinian historians! He also interviewed Mr. Seyeed Hossain Nasr, a professor of Islamic studies at George Washington University, whom I thought was very vague with his answers and explanations. I urge you our mufti, please make a rebuttal KZbin video addressing the arguments Mr. Holland made in his KZbin segment. You're more knowledgeable and can explain matters clearly, especially for those seeking accurate information about Islam and our prophet Muhammad PBUH.
