You're right Adeola, and congratulations on the birth of your baby. This is exactly what we're advocating for in Africa; better health, better living, and better security. I had my first child in London, and my last three in America, without any insurance. And I got this same treatment you're getting. Now that I have a better job with great insurance, I hardly even use it. I also pray every African gets to experience this, and not just politicians and their children.🙏
@PastorIhaza3 жыл бұрын
Did you say, you came to America and had your children without insurance? So, who do you think pay for the bills? American hard working taxpayers... And they can't go to the same hospital and have their babies and not pay... Unless, the are on government assistance, again who pays into the government? The same hard working tax Payers. So disappointed that people would think it's ok. In fact, I was over here praying for Nigeria, and Biafra because of Fulani taking over their land... Now, I guess the Fulani is ok... They go to a place where hard working farmers are, take their land, use the resources they worked hard for... Thanks for helping me to have a better understanding of why Countries are like they are.... Maybe, it because what goes around comes around. My husband came from Nigeria and works very hard, paying taxes and now to know people think America can take care of the World. At some point, America will soon become bankrupt....😳
@ilosworld34353 жыл бұрын
@@PastorIhaza And who do you think is benefitting from the high taxes & Insurance am paying now? The system and the newbies! I was also a newbie, no good job, no insurance, but the system did not discriminate against me. I got the services i needed. The system also supported my educational advancement, and today, am also a high tax paying citizen of the country, with great insurance that I hardly use. The question is, do we have this in Africa? This is what we’re advocating for!
@PastorIhaza3 жыл бұрын
@@ilosworld3435 I understand that, but to celebrate going to a place to use the taxpayers there to have your children, while people here, if not on welfare, will be bound to debt. They can't just walk away and not worry, because they don't have money or insurance. It's not fair. And if you can use the system, definitely not something to brag about. Soon, with all the debt, America will also go bankrupt, I wonder who will be blamed? I do think it also not fair, that so many Countries are not serving their people well. But if you think using another Country's loopholes is ok, maybe your Country will not improve, because people there also think, using loopholes to better ones self is ok. Personally, I think doing the right thing, even if it's a loophole is better for all. Apply, come to America, work hard and get the benefits. But coming just to deliver a baby, not pay in the debt incurred, is not really the right thing to do. Though I understand, why it's done. Stay safe🕊️

Since @Adeola Fayehun posted this vlog, I have read so many people’s comments on the free health care they all received while living in developed countries. None of these countries have gone bankrupt by providing free healthcare for people. Meanwhile, in Africa where only politicians and their families benefit from these kind of services, there’re so much bankruptcy. The purpose of my post to Adeola was to support her view & to chip in that even those without insurance like me, also benefited from the system, why can’t Africa do the same? Now you @PastorIhaza, come at me with this holier than thou attitude, that your husband worked hard, paid taxes, and insurance. And I come here to use the system! First off, it is people like you that don’t let people feel free to comment logically on posts, cause of fear of being judged. You cannot intimidate me! I have my freedom of speech and opinion. Walk away if you don’t agree with me. Secondly, my husband is a citizen of this country who also worked hard, payed taxes & insurance. Hence he was able to file and bring me here. I qualified for free healthcare cause I worked part time, while having my babies and going to school. After graduation, I got a better job with subsidized health insurance that covers my whole family. Today, I pay a lot of taxes into the system, plus paying back student loan they gave me. These people are not stupid, they get back what they spend. They’re not complaining or discriminating. Africa can do the same if only corruption can cease. Thank you.
@PastorIhaza3 жыл бұрын
@@ilosworld3435 I stick by my original comment... No one should celebrate using the system that others work hard for... Now you explain your relationship with your husband who lives here and pays taxes.... My comment stands, and no one said you should not have your own opinion. With your opinion, there is some with theirs. If it is ok, to celebrate using a system without contributing into that system, then the Fulani have a right to do the same... Every corrupt politician can continue to eat well and starve their people because they can. My point is... No one should brag about using a system they don't contribute to... And I do understand why people do it, my issue is encouraging others to do the same.... We are paying this bills, the government 9nly has money from taxes. People should apply and come and be entitled to use the resources. Glad you understood my comment very well, and explained you are married to someone who pays taxes and work hard. Your earlier comment did not give that point. And yes, we haven't went bankrupt yet, because we are still borrowing.... Based on History, it can not continue.... When America give free healthcare to Veterans to use any doctor of their choice and don't need additional insurance to have their children and not have any bills, that they don't have to worry about bankruptcy, then, I will salute paying the bills of people passing through... Thanks for your understanding 🇺🇸🇳🇬

Even people that are not working and are on benefit get the same treatment. The difference between the hospital we go and the one Princess Kate went to is almost indistinguishable. Boris Johnson went to the same hospital I went to last year. It is sad that Buhari will now come to London for hear infection when the money they use to cut grass or build security gatehouse can furnish and upgrade the Aso Rock clinic. In some AFRICAN COUNTRIES we have some few hospitals like almost like this , but it is for a different class of persons , either middle class plus and first class citizens. meanwhile in developed countries al most everyone can enjoy this good quality, well equipped hospitals. That is the big diffrence.

Congratulations Adeola!!! A big thumbs-up to your husband as well for standing with you. You can see the gentleman cleaning up, collecting bags and arranging things. Give him his honor. Tell us he's your lovely husband and not your "baby daddy". All the best guys!
@ifehansson22543 жыл бұрын
That's what a husband should do! We should not be praising Nigerian men for doing what they should be doing.
@seanolu83983 жыл бұрын
@@ifehansson2254 Are you married? Have you ever said "thank you" to your husband for doing anything? And do you introduce your husband as your baby daddy? This has nothing to do with Nigeria. I've been married to my darling wife for over 10 years. I'll NEVER introduce her as my baby mama. And I make sure to appreciate her everyday even when she's doing what you'll claim to be a wife's responsibility. I hope you'll learn that your spouse deserves all your honor. Goodluck in your marriage.

Congratulations aunty Adeola!!! Until this day, my mother tells me the horrendous story from back home in Naija of how she was abandoned in her room because she opted for natural birth and refused the c-section when it came time to give birth to me all because c-section would’ve meant more money for their staff; they only showed up when she was crowning. May God just deliver Nigeria! Major love from Canada 🇨🇦our health care system is free too ❤️❤️❤️

Congratulations once again Adeola. May the Lord strengthen you in this journey of motherhood. Please, no mistake, you've already paid for those services. Insurance company paid because you have been making a particular amount of payments to them. So they settled the bill with your savings, is as simple as that .🙂

It's a blessing to give birth in America. I gave birth at women Katz, northwell hospital. I was supposed to give birth in my own room, with rocking chair, extra bed for my husband if he wants to spend the night with me, and computer that the nurses uses for my treatment, big bathroom until my delivery took turned for c.s. and I was then transferred to surgical room. See doctors and nurses, I felt so blessed been in America and to have access to such first class treatment. All the medical team were amazing. I didn't have a share room or bathroom with anyone, with beautiful views from fifth floor, looking at the snow through the window. God bless America and remember Nigeria.

Awwww congratulations momma! Baby is so cute like her mummy. Nigeria 🇳🇬 is so many miles away from getting to where the western world is today. I remember having my second son in the UK 🇬🇧 the difference was clear in the healthcare treatment I received compared to when I had my second son in Nigeria 🇳🇬

Congratulations Adeola & happy parenting. God bless you and your bundle of joy. When I heard you say 'I just wish Nigerian politicians...', ...'they go abroad and all their children are abroad...' I felt sadness in my heart. It is God that will SURELY punish all of them for us. Their mansions & estates in the deepest & hottest depths of hell await them where they shall suffer without mercy for all the suffering ordinary citizens go through, are going through or have gone through because of their thieving & horrible governance.

Peace and congratulations. Your baby is very beautiful and wise. She is ready to observe the world. A quick note, just because they didnt say it or possibly show it, many of the hospital workers don't like when people from abroad deliver in the US. There is an issue even with cash paying patients. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Take the best of it.. A health and happy delivery for you looked good to after having baby. Peace.
