WHY SOME WERE NOT HEALED?
Acts 10:38 NKJV
“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
Jesus ministered for approximately three years; and from the very beginning of his public ministry he started healing the sick (Matthew 4:23-24) up until his last day of ministry (Luke 22:49-51).
Even though I mentioned last week that Jesus healed them all … that does not mean all were healed because not all of them accepted the healing.
The phrase “He healed them all” simply means Jesus presented healing to them all but not all of them received/accepted it.
Acts 3:1-2 NKJV
“Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;”
There are many factors that could have contributed to some not healed even though Jesus presented healing to them all.
I will only mention one factor in this video
Mark 6:1-6 NKJV
“Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended(rejected him) at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.”
Matthew 8:34 NKJV
“And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to depart from their region.”
Luke 23:18 NKJV
“And they all cried out at once, saying, “Away with this Man, and release to us Barabbas”-”
Titus 2:11 NKJV
“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,”
Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV
““Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
John 3:16 NKJV
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Not everyone believes and accept everlasting life. … it’s exactly the same with healing. It is presented to all but not all received it.
As from next week I will be sharing individual scriptures that will teach and help us to be more receptive to the healing that Jesus is presenting all humanity.
