Sri Narasimha Rao is the real architect of modern India though Nehru was dubbed as the architect of modern India. He was a dreamer and PVN is a pragmatic soul .His preoccupation was the country and pulling out the nation from the depths of despair which could have gone the way of many banana republics .Biggest short coming was lack of charisma and opposition with in the congress by power seekers like Arjun Singh .He knew very well his priority was his country not the paying obeisance to Nehru Gandhi family. Even the telugus discarded him who were shamelessly submitting to the family.TDP in spite of its opposition to Congress had named the flyover in Hyderabad to Airport after his name. Thank god congress is wiped of in the state.He should be honored with Bharatha rathna at the least and a memorial should be erected in Hyderabad
