For those who don’t know, this isn’t the first time Sonic was paired up with a woman. Well, I’m not entirely correct, but I’m not entirely wrong either. More specifically, from conception, Sonic was planned to have a girlfriend named Madonna, a human. I think at least. The difference here is that Elise was actually carried out.

In all honesty I was just happy that Sega was still releasing Sonic titles. I don’t remember it being that bad or buggy but I haven’t played it since I was a preteen. The one that I really didn’t like was the werehog one (I think I rented it once and I played it 2 times throughout the whole rental period) I appreciated them incorporating new mechanics but the werehog segments were too slow paced for me.

A video on Sonic ‘06 in 2020 might seem like beating a dead horse, but I like how you actually look at the circumstances leading up to the game and the rocky development cycle of previous Sonic games to illustrate why it turned out the way it did. Instead of just being like “Sonic ‘06 is bad and here’s why” for 15 minutes! That’s not to defend the game though, since the retail version is complete ass and a buggy and rushed dumpster fire. But after playing the amazing Project ‘06 recently, which’s a fanmade remake for PC basically overhauls the game and removes almost all the bugs, it’s made me realize how great this movie could’ve been if proper time and care were given to it. And it’s a large shame that due to its poor reception, Sega just ditched the adventure formula and haven’t touched it since. With Sonic Colors Ultimate continuing the trend of underwhelming Sonic games, let’s just pray that Sonic 2022 is actually good and finally ends this cycle of mediocrity for 3D Sonic after Generations.

Even during development that some staff were pulled from sonic 06 development to sonic and the seven rings And it became a race to the finish if this sounds familiar this also happened to anthem (2019) Because at E3 2017 to show up it can you play which turned out to be fake which is revealed the Jason Schreier article and not only Heavy crunch during development and dragon age 4 development team at their disposal it also became a race to the finish for BioWare and launch was a disaster And the reason for that the accidentally released a build that is a few weeks old.

To be honest, I enjoyed it for the most part. The glitches aren't noticeable unless you are really trying to find some. I have beaten the game all very hard modes and everything. I liked the concept and Sonic 06 is a game that Sega will remind themselves to never rush a game even though they were rushed by Sony and Microsoft to get the game done around the holidays I also thought the missions were actually decent for what they were. I think the story was good in its own way. Sure, the kiss may have been unnecessary but the build up to Solaris was actually great Music was god tier in this game. They didn't mess up Shadow's story because the president of Sega told Sonic team to not mess up Shadow's character. Sonic's story is very similar to Mario's story in which he has to save the princess almost every time. Silver's story is like Trunks' story in which its time travel and it was decent. I can see why people hate Sonic 06 but I personally liked it and its everyone's opinions.
