It’s kind of funny that u mention how people underestimate Spidey in the air because he’s notoriously known for being extremely dangerous if he can get you into the air almost just as much as a flying character at certain heights. Game is so great cuz the hero’s play how they rlly fight in comics and stuff like that.

During the beta I was comparing characters play styles to overwatch characters, and I couldn’t really put my finger on who Spider-Man’s play style was similar to, but once you said 3:20 that made me instantly think of Sombra! That’s what lots of sombras do and considering both characters do more damage when an enemy is either webbed or hacked makes them even more similar!

Whats truly cinematic is necros movement. The combos might be hard but the fact he can go in, do a combo and stick to a wall that just takes him of line of sight is just crazy.

The thing is that Spider-Man in this game has like the MOST amount of tech that I have seen. Anything in his kit can be canceled with a web cluster. He's also a hero that you HAVE to change the settings on to get the most amount control in order to do better. It's just SO MUCH effort in order to secure a kill with VERY LITTLE error for the player to have. It's just that he is SO SQUISHY, his only get out card is his web swing (speed), and you can still be killed. I feel like they should revert back to his 300 HP like it was in the alpha, Spider-Man still very much was squishy, but it wasn't as stressful. Or maybe he gets over health for dealing damage with certain abilities for going in. I feel like it would generally just help him and anybody playing just a smidge.

​@@Otaya_2024 Nah, he def could benefit with some sustain or his original hp back. His play style can easily be countered by just sticking together and CCing him when he gets in. This happened to Necros in the tournament, where he swapped off to play Magik when the enemy just got out of spawn and were just pushing cart. It is also a lot more common in higher elo matches. Admittedly, defending as Spider-Man is just naturally more difficult as there will just be less isolated targets, but in order to get value out of his kit, you just have to make these risky type of plays in any type of scenario. I just think him having some more health or overhealth can benefit him without even changing his playstyle, just giving you more breathing room to make plays.

You can set setting for individual hero's like in OW so you dont have to tune everytime you rotate picks.

The issue is that if you miss you are pretty useless until you get the cooldown back. And if healers are good you will almost never actually get the one hit combo. I think it’s pretty balanced actually A good Spider-Man can dominate but there are also comps that he is literally unplayable against

Spidey is my main but its been really annoying seeing this narrative that he is the hardest character in the game. How much do spidey players wanna glaze themselves...? Dont get me wrong he is indeed one of the hardest to pick up but once you do and u can do at least 1 combo u can get really easy picks even in plat+, Especially if u have a venom on the team. Unless they take Penny then thats where I usually opt to another dps unless i'm still having an easy time.
