Who is Lucky Cruz? The 16-year-old Texan won the 2023 Curry Cup on the Underrated Golf Tour and received the trophy from Stephen Curry himself. He is quickly making a name for himself within the junior ranks. We visited with Lucky and his family in Magnolia, Texas, to hear about Lucky's journey so far.

I’ve had the privilege of meeting this young man and his dad. What you don’t see in this short video is how respectful, humble, and sincere Lucky is to everyone he meets and interacts with. Having this much talent at his age would have already ruined most people and I think it’s only made him an even better person. So refreshing to see. I wish him the very best and honestly believe he deserves every good thing coming his way.

Hope. One kid at a time. There are NO limits to what you can do, IF, you want it. Looking forward to seeing this journey unfold. Keep your head on straight, Don't be intimidated, live your own life. Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Payne Stewart, and Tiger Woods. You can't name everyone, but these I grew up with, and watched. To dad and family, hold on, you are going to go on one he'll of a ride. Take it slow, and enjoy the ride. My father in law said it best, " If you come out of the gate being the best, and start out on top, there is not but one way to go? " There was Tiger, maybe now, there is Lucky. Have fun my friend.
