Vetiver was the reason i got into fragrances i absolutely love it. How anyone can not love vetiver but at the same time like castoreum & civet is beyond me 😳

Spot on Joy! You described this masterpiece of a fragrance quite well.

Every review I've read about this scent so far has been amazing. And since I love and already own 7 other vetiver scents I decided I need a sample, and then to find this one for a good price. 👍 Fortunately I found this one being sold on an online auction last night for $50! No one had shown any interest yet, so the owner agreed if I want it, just call their private phone number. Timing is everything 😊.

Fantastic review Joy. Thanks for your researched input. I agree it is a challenging fragrance for vetiver lovers and those that appreciate complexity in fragrances. Well done mate! 👍👍

I was searching for my second Nishane after Hacivat and was debating between Ani and Fan Your Flames. I wasn’t wowed by FYF and was about to buy Ani…….then I came across your review! I felt that the dry down of Ani was a little similar to Hacivat and I’m not the greatest fan of Vetiver, but I wanted something a little different in my collection, so I took your advice and bought Sultan Vetiver. Thank you for your reviews bhai.

@@verycalmgamer4090 I ended up buying both Sultan Vetiver and Ani. I’m not a vetiver fan after smelling Terre D’Hermes but Sultan Vetiver is much better than that. However I still enjoy Ani and Hacivat more.

My wife said this perfume smells soapy. Beast mode and unique. Apply only two sprays. King of vetiver. My box doesn't have hard plastic layer and the inner box is black. Other is same with yours.

My friend I could not agree with you more. When I first got my nose on this I was blown away. I couldn't buy a bottle quick enough, and it is my favorite Nishane and in my top 5 favorite fragrances of all time. Honestly, when I wear this beautiful fragrance I honestly feel like royalty.

Thank you for the review Joy! I have mine for a month now, it's a very recent batch. It's not strong to my nose. Even kind of weak. Did your bottle change after the first few months? I know my Hacivat became stronger. I hope so, because I'm really disappointed by the performance. I know all about Olfactory Fatigue and I start with one spray on my wrist or the back of my neck to avoid OF. But with my Sultan Vetiver this even does not help. I also had a dent in the cap out of the box, the label is crooked and already coming off. :(

As a vetiver geek and lover, allow me to say that this is closer to a rooh e khus than it is to a perfume. It is very high quality indeed but blending it with all those fancy synthetic ingredients is such a waste. Just get the Roja if compliments and glam are what youre after. Nishane sultan can - however - be a nice vessel for your entry into the beautiful and magnificent world of vetiver attars and oils.

Joy should I buy Sultan Vetiver or Lalique encre noire/encre noire sport ?
@timothysegal35894 жыл бұрын
You can't compare them. I sold my encre noir. It was quite harsh to my nose. It's a fragrance that you can get for 25-30 dollars. sultan Vetiver is way more complex and has all the facets of vetiver: green, grassy, earthy, nutty, some freshness and sweetness. Sultan vetiver costs 160 dollar, 120 if you can get a good deal. Encre Noir is a good sent for the price. Sultan Vetiver is a great fragrance. But as with every fragrance, you should test it. I would never buy it blind.
@mrfragranceparis4 жыл бұрын
@@timothysegal3589 since 4 months I got both. Encre noire is around 50 euros in France. You can't find lower like this US. I love it and find it more pleasant than SV. More green like smelling the soil after digging a 5 meters hole. SV is too strong. Almost gives me Headaches. I enjoy it but I don't reach for it as much as EN.
