I think one thing you forgot to mention that further solidifies his ideology is how he completely flips a switch once he realized that the people who came to meet him were fellow mutants, and he becomes genuinely nice and hospitable to them.

Superfly is definitely how to make a sympathetic villain work. He literally wants to have a mutant hate free world. And his backstory scene was so sad….. OMIGOD SUPERLFY LET US HUG YOU YOU TRAUMATIZED MUTANT…..😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Okay, I'm late here but I wanna give You my take on the character. He is actually an amazing villain, until the final battle where he drops his intellegence down somehow. He is such a wasted potential, and I can actually see him work alongside Shredder in the sequel if he wasn't killed off in the 1st movie

I wouldn’t say he was dumbed down post-transformation, he prevented the turtles from de-mutating him after noticing their reflection on that building. That was pretty clever. The movie was 10/10 and SuperFly was 10/10 baddie.
