Why Tales of The Abyss is my Favorite Game Ever

What Tales is for you, Trails is for me - my absolute favorite. Just wanted to say thank you for your insight on Abyss, I just got a 2DS and got Abyss on it, among other games, and I wanted to know which to start first. I think you’ve sold me on Abyss!

Try out Vesperia on Switch. Then maybe it'll prompt you to play the other games. I played it on switch and love it almost as much as Abyss.

Hey man, it's so awesome to see the love for the game. My experience with Abyss was kinda rough, I can't stand the MC at first and stop playing it. After beating the game later in life, I have to say it's one of the best tales game.

my man you have quite the taste for games. i beat the game fairly recently in the 3ds. but it was hard to finish. luke was an insufrabe little rat. even after the redemption clone reveal he was hard to stand. jade the necromancer really carried this game for me. even though i wouldnt place this game in my top five rpgs. i remember everything about this game, the names, locations music etc. i can see how this game is so beloved but just not for me

Jade totally stole the show for me on my first playthrough. And Luke to me felt like a mirror image to myself. Like he grew up not really understanding how anything worked until reality kicked him in the ass and even then he refused to change at first until shit hit the fan and then he tried to become a better person just like myself. But tbh he's not my overall favorite jrpg protagonist even though Abyss is my favorite game. And I respect your opinion on it not being for you. I don't expect it to be everyone's favorite. That's why I like most of the gaming community. We all have our own varied opinions, and most of us can come together and respect each other's opinions.

Was only able to play through the first few hours of the 3ds version. Definitely a game I would like to get again and play through

I personally haven't played the Xillia games, just need to get a ps3 since I do own them. And thanks I love the Happy console shirt I'm wearing. He's such an awesome guy
