Teaching Is Touching Lives but our lives as teachers are never touched.

This is really very true,Tr. Peter. I personally hear several workmates of mine who are teachers planning to go for businesses in some five years. Today the issue of PTC is no longer there and most people after completing their A level,bwam to degree for Law or any other bachelor. For sure,my speculation is that in some five years to come,teachers will be fewer than today reason being they are not being motivated. My appreciation goes to TIN department in their struggles to motivate teachers though they are under a private entity. I request the stakeholders,school proprietors and others who are here to take this seriously for their own future benefits. Teachers are so resourceful! IMAGINE HOW THE WORLD WOULD BE IF TEACHERS WEREN'T THERE!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the realities on ground. As TIN we think the world just needs to wake up and start prioritising the teaching profession world wide for the better of our next generation and the generations yet unborn.

Remuneration goes with moral support and good working relationships with stakeholders. I wish our leaders knew how dangerous it is to keep the future generation with a demoralized teacher.

This message should reach the concerned stakeholders otherwise even the needed qualifications where one is earning peanut has already demoralised most teachers especially the young ones. In the future parents are gonna become teachers to their own kids because us who are in the profession now are soon quitting or retiring and the youngsters are not interested in the teaching profession. God should intervene but we are fed up.

You have clearly stated the naked truth on ground, unfortunately even parents are busy day and night and they are totally disconnected from the realities on ground.

I think all policy makers feel normal to hear teacher cries and complains,let's love our job it's we can do for now
@TeachersTVAfrica8 күн бұрын
@@okwigodfrey5799 We believe when something becomes normal everyone starts seeing it as a normal thing but most of the might want to see things change though it has to be a global change

And for Uganda, it's mostly because of school ownership. Most policy makers in Uganda are private school owners. Now, you imagine how they will focus on development than profitability

Wow.. meaning they hold they keys 🔑. But how best can we focus on developing teachers using applicable means. Thank you for sharing

Thank you for hanging on and creating a lasting impact in the next generation. But according to you is it possible for the general welfare of teachers to change worldwide?
@gyaviirakakuru16785 күн бұрын
@TeachersTVAfrica absolutely yes but obviously will vary from government to government, trs deserve better bse they do a lot in upbringing the nation , not just it's human resource but their impact on the development, on economic, name , all that , atr is fully behind . We to rethink of world negotiation for financing of trs welfare just like the COP's it's possible with negotiation world wide . Charity though begins at home

This is true. But tr.Peter are you aware that the top leadership in EDUCATION department most of them are TEACHERS.But let me put this across when a human being gets good things he or she forgets the rest

Thank you for sharing your opinion, we believe it also goes back to the will and support system. Do we have clear support systems in place and the will from all stake holders like school leaders, parents and other stake holders?
