I was just about to comment on your other video on this about the charge back, Well I explained to my bank as to what was going on and how there was no warning of closer what so ever. On top of everything not granting a grace period for this action, Well Lets just say bank is not too happy. The person I talked to is a DHSG player themselves didn't know about this news at all either, They are non to pleased and the fact I don't do charge backs once maybe 4 or 5 years they are going to push this through for the last 60 days. As of now I will have to wait 10-15 days to know the results but so far it's promising, And yea it is funny that they don't want you to do this shit when this is the most scummy ass move I have ever seen a company do in my life time.

First: JuJu (Discord Moderator) posted a comment in general chat saying that a player that spent 40k dollars in S2 was "peanuts" and they have players who spent 150k. So it's clear they don't consider any average purchases to be of value. SECOND: They stole from US players. They took sales all the way up to the announcement and then said, we'll tough poop that you will lose your purchase in September. Some players said their banks refunded the purchases mine did not and I lost a good amount of money. GOOGLE was absolutely no help at all and declined all of my refund requests. I hope their company sinks like a rock. If I lived somewhere else, I would not spend another dime in this game.

Learnt my lesson years ago: NEVER pay to play a P2W game. So as a F2P player, I'll just continue to play as along as it garners my interest. Once it became too much 'work' or occupied too much of my time, I'll just drop it or play lesser.

You are the best Stew! I am a low spender (occasionally five euro) and will keep it this way. It’s possible, that they are planning to close all markets, but are just under US jurisdiction afraid not to tell the players. Taking the players money and concealing the imminent end of service could be considered ‘deception’ or ‘unfair practice’ under the FTC Act. The US administration could object such an infringement and the consequences would be severe. In the EU it would just be a question of civil law between the company and every single player - which is a risk you could take as a company. My trust is completely gone, until they deliver a sensible explanation.

Even though it has so many problems and even though it has many changes, it still remains the best mobile game in several factors, graphics, construction, battles, it is far from perfect because it is in the process of being polished, it is sad on my server some players have already said goodbye , I hope everything is clear, I intend to play more and have new characters.

I enjoy the game and it's the main one I play, so I don't mind dropping 50$ CAD (35$ USD) on the monthly deals.. the mining warrant, supplies and walker's. What I spend on the game comes out of my "beer money". It was always going to be spent on something fleeting and experiential. If the game dies it dies, and I was never deeply invested in it to begin with. Only thing that's changed is I'm NEVER going to spend more than that now on the dragon crystals, which I had considered before. I'm just going to keep spending at my current level or less. They've eliminated the possibility of me paying more. It's a mistake to invest in these game to a point that I'd ever feel scammed if things did go tits up with it. Gachas are casinos.. greasy asf to begin with.

The moment they closed that US gateway I stopped spending any money (I'm in EU), i would advise all of you to do the same and aplie for refunds until its chance you will get them. No info. about the reason for that happening hints on closing the game altogether.

I already quit playing when I found out, although I wanted to finish with season 1 that I started back when season 4 started. Yes, I found it odd that the added mechanics of season 1 were never applied to other seasons. I used the dice and really enjoyed the dups... (eye roll). It was a fun concept, and the storyline was great.

The theorey it closes down a single market because its not doing good financially makes even less sense. The point that its US only can only point at a legal issue or an issue with some regulation. An issue because its a mix of chinese companies and the ongoing conflicts of US regulations with chinese companies is the first thing that comes to my mind. Not sure what is different for SGRA but there might be a tiny bit thats different which causes the FTC to have an issue with its publisher changing ownership while its not for Watcher of Realms(and we don't know if WoR is going to do the same if they go through the same merger).

Nothing I have devoted all my time these past 2 days whenever I go down this theory which Stew mentions Marvel Snap completely fine. If it is SGRA why was it ever legal in the first place in USA. Took a break for a few months just to see it shut down. Shame, the bones were there for a truly great D&D experience. And I think therein lies the problem. Hasbro. If this company was so bad it made Larian cut ties after a single game despite the absolutely unholy amount of money they made, I can only imagine what a mobile game publisher would have to go through to keep using the D&D brand in America without hassle.

Another theory is breaking contract with DnD. With tencent they could do Riot collabs like Morgana ect and get that bag. As a none US player, I'll continue playing because I like the game and will wait foe more information about it. It must be understood that not all information concerning the policy can be disclosed in a clear and precise manner. We had the case of Huawei, which the American government fought because the company was starting to take market share from Apple. So the Dragonheir guys may indeed be right about that and it's really unfortunate for American players

I'm in Europe, mid season 2. Will keep playing but I will probably limit my spendings to battlepass and energy/crystals subsriptions. My personal theory is that it's related to DnD licensing. US is the prime DnD market so US license might have become unsustainable. It would aslo make sense for devs not to tell the reason because they want to continue working with WotC on global market. But it's pure speculation obviously.

Looking at the top servers, most of them are "Chinese characters". Asia is a specific market - look at the current launches of mobile mmo games. EU and US are not the most important at the moment.

devs killed this game long time ago with their decisions, especially with badly designed Seasonal system (yes there is way how to do it properly) and with releasing milion servers every week / month, they did end up with X servers that had Y different seasons running at same time and there was no chance to merge dead servers or fix it so in long run it would be disaster anyway, also all new players had to start from S1 which was dumb idea, there should had been some kind of tutorial at start, first campaign and then new player can choose to join newest season like it is in other seasonal games... Because of these mistakes it was very hard even for CCs to promote the game and keep their audience excited and interested, it was a mess from start sadly and this "kick" from US markey was only cherry on the top tbh

Hey, i m french and i m very dispointed of the situation. I m sad thinking players who spend money, love this game and who are fired. It s crazy and scandalous. Despite this, i think i'll continue playing this game at least until season 5. I don t think amarican players stop the game if players of EU are fired... BUT Rook, the fact i don t have exclusive Heroes (i m in S4), the repetition etc can make me stop playing. I've been thinking about it for a while. Depends is your account connected to your US email if you created it via a US account. Like a gmail you made in the states even though your in another country. That's the only good thing there customer service can do link them your Dragonheir ID number and they will let you know. Then copy paste everything you already have seen.

The only thing that comes to my mind as to why they would pull out of yhe US specifically is copyright ©️ and IP laws. D&D, which this game is based off of, and actively uses, is owned by HASBRO and I don't doubt for one second that HASBRO has finally noticed just how much money they've missed out on by, most likely, charging only a flat fee for use of the IP rather than a revenue share. Once HASBRO realized this, they said "Hey! You better give me some of that cheese starting X date or you're out". And the developer of Dragonheir was like "if we stay in the US, we'll have to share. If we leave US, we more than likely won't have to share revenue." It seems to be the only thing that i can think of. HASBRO has a mean streak when it comes to money they aren't generating off their IPs, which is fair, but they do it in a malicious way.

It's Dungeons and Dragons related. They probably don't want to pay the IP for the current royalties or future royalties. And most likely not want to deal with the legal issues forth coming. There might be a D&D clause that didn't sit well in the purchase deal. OR the D&D licensed Characters are no longer coming. But if it's not D&D related, then with all the evidence Stew presented, it sounds more like they might be changing the season system and might not want to deal with the US laws when they purchased the game. So they can change the game outside of the US, then reintroduce.

Google refunded my only purchase of the helliolite pack...99.99 one because I wanted to jump into season 2 with some extra pulls. Purchased it literally 2 days before announcement. Refunded already posted. I am quite sure Google knows the dirt and I would say anything within the last 30 days they will refund without even blinking. Stew, I can't get why you're so mad? Like they were personally insulting you. It seems to me that it is quite obvious that this is rather a decision of the US authorities, and not of the company. As you yourself noted, no one in their right mind would voluntarily abandon the US market. I know this for sure because I am a player from Russia, where, due to sanctions on payments outside the country, shopping in a store is very expensive and inconvenient thing, since you have to use the services of intermediaries. Despite this, the developers translate all content into Russian, communicate with local players, and pay Russian bloggers participating in the content creators program.

Who cares? Bad design is killing this game long before anything else. S1 had wonderful plot and everything. S2 was okay, still good. S3 looked like a cash grab, release no real new content and make everyone redo everything for what? S4 looks like more of the same, if it wasn't that I have some overpowered heroes that make everything a lot easier, I wouldn't have bothered. Seasons might have worked if it meant new challenges every time. Instead it meant reselling the same broken wheel. Then there's these crushing timelines that mean you have to play like a madman and you can't speed any combats up because horrible design making it a huge time suck. It really makes you want to go back to disconnected games like console games or simply older games. My best guess is they have legal problems and a lawsuit (probably private, not government) was imminent, or a cease and desist letter was sent. Maybe this will be the final nail in the coffin or maybe they will finally give us some of what we asked for instead of being almost completely stuck up in their little world like they are the experts at games which they clearly are not. Or maybe they'll just throw more free gifts and hope - most likely.

Just watch your videos one month or two ago and check your reactions.. That time where you got all the goodies and you didn't have to spend a dime to get almost everything in the game. Just accept the fact that they close US servers for serious reasons (maybe your government laws etc.) and don't throw sh*t in a game that you supposed to like and had fun. This moment that we speak, you still make money from this 'dead game' but monetize these videos so that is called hypocrisy or what? My advice would be to find another game you like and make videos for that and leave dragonheir players to choose on their own what to do. (at least those who can still play and enjoy the game as it is). Peace

US goverment had nothing to do with this game pulling out of the US and my sponsorship was great. The base game is amazing. The company however runs it like poopoo. All my videos say sponsonder stream or video right when you watch them. I never hid that and I played this game LONG before they sponsored me. It was cool to get paid to cover a game you love. My advice to you would be to drop this game. The company is trash. Cheers.

@@StewGamingTV It's true that company sucks and I agree with you, however I play the game for the game itself not because of them. If in the near future I find that I'm bored, then I will change game and move on with my life. If you had a company like them and run a game with the most of your player base and fans are in the US, I don't see why you want to harm your company. Believe me there are reasons above us and any company has to go with the laws and restrictions. They don't see it as we do, like players, but with aim to earn more money not to lose it. That is common sense, nothing more.. Not only dragonheir gets restricted from US, you can find other games that had been restricted over the years from countries and continents as well, just a quick search on the internet and you will understand what I'm saying.. I still really cannot accept that the game has turned out like this, it will be its downfall very soon. It's just so sad they have good graphics and good concept of heroes, but just gone like that. It will be a while till we can find a game that's similar to this. For me i will still play casualy but not spending anymore as i see there's no point to it already. I still like their heroes, so i will summon my remaining dices for the oak event and play a while and stop at some point. Hope to see new games/stream from you Stew... and we all can play in a "same" server together. 🤣

As for dying game, I doubt it, there are much worse games than this still alive and well. The Real question is, can a game succeed without the US market? The answer is, Yes. There are many games outside of the US and they are doing fine. Also, Nuverse is not stupid enough to purchase a dying game. They would have had access to all the server data for the past year and with their expertise in the gaming industry, they would have seen any drop.

@@StewGamingTV Dude, who said ByteDance has to keep the seasonal system. At the end of the day, they can just get rid of it. They own the IP now, and there is nothing SGRA can do about it. It was SGRA championing the seasonal system, not ByteDance. ByteDance has the money to experiment, and most likely dropped the US to cheapen the experimental stage. Maybe US servers are too expensive to operate during an experimental stage.

@@arts.4956 You mean Tencent. No, there is a massive legal issue, no games pull out of US just because. The thing is they don't own the DnD IP and all the DnD references inside the game. That's my guess.
