I remember when tesla was barely used and was considered a below average defense building that was off meta and constantly overshadowed by cannon, yeah good times.

the thing that makes tesla so different from all other buildings is that its a medium hp dps and that hiding mechanic unlike bomb tower, you really dont want enemy units hitting your tesla, you want a tesla and a tank to distract for it this has the side effect of making the tesla survive the defense with leftover hp, and in building terms, that leftover hp means it stays on the map wayyyyyy longer if you consider swapping the roles, musky + bomb tower. the musky does the dps and the bomb tower does the tanking, after defense the full hp musketeer walks up to counterpush and probably gets defended for a positive trade, and the remaining bomb tower hp ticks away if you use knight + tesla, the knight loses hp on defense, and since it was out of hp, the counterpush doesnt really matter. but what does matter is that since the tesla was protected, it will stop the opponent from going in, or even kill the next card that the opponent plays in this sense tesla is a really good denial card because you tend to protect it to get the most value, and protecting it happens to let it get even more value and the second thing about the tesla in this aspect is the spell immunity since the tesla is gonna stay on the map for a long time, obviously the opponent wants to kill it to stop it from getting value. but unless theyre playing eq, theres no way to kill it without it getting value. and on top of this, the fact that the tesla stays underground means that you can stack multiple teslas right next to eachother since they dont give spell value between all of these things tesla tends to feel like it has a much longer lifespan than any other building in the game, despite having an equal time to the rest of the normal buildings in the vid he said that tesla doesnt do well against eq, but in my opinion, its the single best building to counter earthquake. it is the only building in the game that has a good anti eq placement, if you place it 1 tile under the middle of the river, its impossible to hit both the tesla and the tower, meaning that the eq deck doesnt get that chip damage that it relies on so heavily right now i play a tesla control deck, and most eq players i face actually just stop trying to break through and go for eq cycle on my tower in triple elixir bc they know that its not worth it to earthquake a tesla

At least if devs buff defence buildings hp by 40-50% - would be nice, since buildings recieved lots of hard nerfs and they die very quickly to 0 skill spells They really need buffs cause in 1v1 are unplayable and dont give same impact as they cost

They do + - decent only in 2v2! Unlike Units which loose hp only in combat, buildings loose HP everytime
