This is also my favorite modern camaro as well, i wish they would've kept the lines clean and simple. Chevrolet just went haywire with the current gen models. This is a true modern muscle car just like the dodge challenger

I have a 2013 Camaro 2LT Convertible. Bought it from the original owner in 2018. Garage Kept, showroom condition. Alas a V6, however I had Glasspacks installed and it ROARS. I was a child of the 60's and a Camaro was my dream. Will NEVER part with car. The sculpture of this body style excludes muscle. Pure joy to drive.

Sketch monkey, I know what you meant when you said you wanted more of a positive clunk feeling when putting it into gear. The car totally transforms when you install an MGW shifter. Believe me, it feels better than an S2000 shifter at that point. Tight and bolt action type engagement. Good to see the best Camaro design getting some love. 2010 to 2013 will be sought after someday as the better looking and simpler Camaros

Dud, the fist Camaro was produced in 1967 not 66. The 5th gen Camaro looks a lot closer to the 1969 then any other year.

The mistakes this guy makes is absolutely hilariously halfwited. The 67 Camaro has nothing to do with the 5 gen camaro lols it’s the iconic 69 with the side cues on the rear quarter panels and the front end lights and rear lights. I don’t think he knows much about muscle cars at all. Says it’s supercharged lols and the hp ratings he got all wrong lol was so annoying. But beautiful beast of a muscle car!

I have a 2013 SS Camaro Crystal Red Metallic and love every bit of it. I don't like the new camaro at all. As you stated, they just don't feel or look muscle to me. However, if I had to get a newer one, it would be a 2019 because of the rear tail lights. And the 2013 ZL1 is a beast mean looking ass car. Just beautiful

This is my dream car eversince i was a kid and i really hope i can get it some day. Being so special to me I did some research and found out that the concept car had 21 inch front and 22 inch rear wheel size and i think it looks best this way but with the original wheel design. Great video i must add. the design is just too good not to talk about it

You should definitely drive the ZL1/1LE (Manual). Less than 4500 made for the entire model run and of course - Nurburgring legend.

Beautiful ride. I miss mine. Had the exact one with a few extras I had new from 2013-15. Love the feel of the Hurst shifter upgrade they put onto the Dusk SS’. Side note, you added 30 extra HP and torque to it in the video. Newer gen makes 455. This year produced 426hp and 420ft-ibs. Might be just over 430hp with the NPP dual mode exhaust. 5+hp or so. Looking to get a 2019+ ZL1 next in the 6-speed 😎 Thats my favorite new Camaro.

Another important thing to mention. Only 1,012 Dusk Editions were produced total and of those only 205 made in 2SS Coupes with a Manual 😎 What a special car. This color combo is the BEST in my opinion too!!

I agree. This generation is the best looking of the modern Camaros. Misses: why didn't Chevy try to make the interior of the Camaro more functional? Too much wasted space. While this greenhouse is the tallest of the modern Camaros, it was still too narrow. They should have looked at the BMW M2s for inspiration. And I still think GM should have introduced a shooting brake version (Team Mustang too - the Sketch Money's GT350 version is to die for!). After all, entry-level buyers keep these performance models alive. And entry-level buyers want/need decent utility in anything they buy. Lastly, the Camaro should have better utilized their badging. The RS and SS badges are hard to tell apart. The SS Camaro should have had a very prominent SS badge in the center of the grill. On the front fender with either liters or cubes underneath it, and a larger SS badge on the backend. When you buy/drive an SS, in musclecar circles you want that badging to be visible to intimidate the competition.

Those 21" wheels are just bad for the performance. im also surprised that there is no cold air intake and a better exhaust installed. both of those makes power and even better engine sound. i have a 2015 SS

Great exterior, horrible interior color. 5th Gen for the win, I had both 2013 convertible and 2018 hard top. Think this cozy? 6th Gen too cramped, smaller in every dimension. I traded it in after 5K miles.

Yuck. 16+ is the GOAT. It’s the highest evolution of the PONY CAR, which the Camaro IS. It’s NOT a muscle car, never was intended to be one; Chevy had the Chevelle and Nova for the muscle car enthusiasts. Pony Cars are more akin to what we call sports cars. The Challenger is a muscle car- a big heavy car. Camaros are pony cars- you’ve got it all mixed up.

That is one ugly car inside and out..... I was a 1st and 3rd generation owner. Performance has improved but I've been waiting for the looks to improve. The front of the 2024 looks pretty good but so far the rear ends have looked terrible since the 4th gens. 3rd gen motors SUCKED... I owned a few and that was always the first thing to go. Seeing as 2024 looks to be the last year unless they go full electric it seems if I were to own a Camaro again I would go back to the 3rd gen body and put a newer gen engine in it..

I own a C8 Corvette but I have to say a 5th Gen Camaro ZL1 is still one of the most bad ass looking modern cars of all time. Regular 5th gens like this look okay but without the right stance, it's as ugly as a stock 3rd or 4th gen. I liked the 02' Trans Am WS6 as well. I'd rank those 2nd to a 5th gen ZL1.
