This is just a pro khalistani movement with personal interest of people from other side of border. You forgot how udta Punjab came , this chitta ie white powder ie drugs has already ruined many youth and comes via other side of border, why do you think near election now more and more drones from Pakistan are coming, more underground tunnels are being found, sidhu is with Pak now even captain said it so now don't call me sanghi or that shit ok. I'm a civilizational nationalist person so not with BJP , no party does all I want. This is just time to chose that a instability in this region will be beneficial to who. Now options are BJP plus Capt Or AAP the most dangerous one Or Cong Or akali and bsp No full support in my sight, I live in himachal Pradesh near China border which is near to punjab uttarakhand and the uncle saying potato he sold at 8 rupees , I sold at 13 and do 4 crops of potatoes a year , and comparing indian farmer with 1 acre land holding to Americas with 100 acres of farm's then you know how intelligence is being used. It's kinda sad we have twice as much grain than needed and there are still starving children just make a system distributing the excessive grain to the slums or those below the poverty line sort of like the lungals its not like we will need all of those extra 40 tons of grain for our storage just use them to feed the less privileged
@gundeep03 жыл бұрын
Basically, you are right, it will change nothing for the govt and do good for the country. But govt wont do it, i also wondered why so here is the maths, remember india has time yo time donated the grains to some other countries for relief work... But the problem is in the economics. The grain even if not used, on paper costed something, even if some of it rots, its still equivalent in equity to what it costed. But if huge sums.of it is distributed to the poor, even if it doesn't cost anything to the govt, in the books it has to recorded as expenditure, and goes under fiscal defecit.. So if govt wants to keep fiscal defecit low it wont distribute it, even if it rots in FCI godowns Basically when i say "distribution costs govt nothing" actually it does. as the govt has to allocate the equal amount to FCI, which actually holds the grain, and this amount goes in expenditure. ..,... So its just a numbers game.
@geandraige39363 жыл бұрын
@@gundeep0 but why are they valuing fiscal defecit at such a high standard mean as long as the records are made public as to why the expenditures have increased I don't think it will affect the over all administration sure it will make their records a mess in dew time but that in my opinion can be fixed in few days with a committe of experts also why is our goverment paying to take out food from its own storage I mean fci bought that grain using government assigned budget and now to use that food goverment has to pay again Brother this system is a mess
@gundeep03 жыл бұрын
@@geandraige3936 see if you have 1000 cash in a box and spend 500 to buy gold and place it in the same box the box is still worth 1000, so no profit no loss in buying, it only makes a difference if now you give the gold to someone for 100 cash and place 100 in the box, now your box is worth 600, So act of buying is not an issue and act of distribution is.

@@narendranarendra5143 In chapter 2 point 6 of the farm bill, its clearly mentioned that any trade outside the APMC won’t be entitled to tax, or any trade out of the mandi would be free of the APMC act. Presently, any trade in APMC or mandi is entitled to 8% taxation. So my nature no one is a fool and willing to pay a tax. This is a way to facilitate farmers to go for more private player, eventually no trade in APMC will result in mandi to dissolve over time. As the private players initially will give lucrative prices. However, overtime this will result in shrinking and weaking of APMC and eventually end of them. Then farmers would be left only to private buyers. These buyers normally work in group. How I know, as I have worked and had dealt both the ends. I know the union of the private buyers and how they control certain prices. People are debating mandi or APMC are bad. However, data shows the farmers are doing well with present APMC both in Punjab and Haryana. Mandi, have always been shown bad but in other states hardly in Punjab or Harayana, also there can be few bad apples that doesn’t mean the system is not working there. Also, you should understand the 8% tax goes to state govt. State govt need to carry out different activities which are not paid why centre and are state affair and this tax contributes towards it.Also, government says there wont be any foul play in private trade outsid APMC mandi then why 4 cr of fraud took place in MP where BJP in power and why this law failed?

If government can pay msp on rice and wheat throughout the year and collects 91 MT of grains and just 48 MT is sufficient then it shows that government have enough funds to provide msp. Government only have to restructure their msp policy by providing msp on different crops with corresponding season. In the season of wheat provide msp on wheat, in the season of maze switch msp from wheat to maze and so on. Instead of providing msp on same crop through out the year..regulate msp on different crops in different seasons.

Why does the government not provide MSP on other types of crops? Why MSP is provided on crops like wheat only? Is there any reason behind that? If MSP is provided on other types of crops, I think it may encourage our farmers to produce different kinds of crops other than wheat. This will reduce the over-supply of wheat and hence reduce the wastage of wheat getting rotten in storage facilities. There must be some logical reason behind this.

If mandis have not succeeded wherever implemented then why continue with the same model? Anyways the basic problem still remains, Green Revolution, GM crops & food independance. Farmers grew GM crops and stopped oil seeds & millets for the additional profits it promised. Farm bills se Krushi Sankat door nahi hoga, we must fight to alter the bills, not completely withdraw an immediate solution. The only long term solution can be answered by, Are we urbans ready to change our food habits, promote growth of non GM local seeds & millets and are we ready to pay higher price or atleast equivalent to the imported grains? 👌👍✊
