Ridley Scott and FOX should have just stuck with the original sequel to Prometheus titled “Paradise Lost”. Some cool concept art came out for that movie recently. It would have focused so much more on the engineers and their civilization. Missed opportunity.

The 'alien' should have always remained a mystery. Alien could and should have changed regarding what host it attacks. I think one film should have looked into an alien from a android host.

Prometheus was fascinating for the franchise instead of being pure misery/survival. Having Covenant reset to the status quo of that premise that’s associated with the alien franchise to follow it up was a mistake, it had so many so avenues to go down instead of becoming an Alien 1 plot.
