It's kinda simple to explain why: Backrooms has lost its nature, being a place of loneliness and the fear of something is coming towards become a competition of who can make the scariest levels by slapping in as many entities as possible. This leads to the popularity of Backrooms has also decreased, people either don't take interests in this topic anymore or just don't want to look it up. Backrooms now is just a place for people to make content farms instead of something actually new.

Liminal spaces make me feel, odd. Like if the spaces feel alive or having a spirt or giving me a memory based on the lighting. Back then, the Liminal Space videos gave me flashbacks, but since I've forgottn the actual memories i just had the emotional repaonce fo those emopries from the Liminal videos i was watching... it's hard to explain... but in simple term "liminal spaces make people have a flashback that they only can remember the feeling of"

When I talk about my theory about this, nobody agrees with me. (a few did) but overall most people say its the liminal feeling itself, or some other excuse to accompanying the feelings of such things. " Liminal spaces, i had in my dreams as a kid, coincidentally because mt dreams were rendered by spaces, textures , and then people. Last... Feelings, moods or spirts in my dreams are not bound by the dreams as the people are in my dreams. " My dreams have this static, dithering feeling... I assume Liminal spaces feel like static.

Too many people missed the point of The Backrooms and it became over saturated with irrelevant and unnecessary content. Continually shifting the goal posts made it less "Back Rooms" and more "random stuff thrown together" instead, thusly losing it's original appeal. Sorry for my stilted speech. I am autistic and I did my best to articulate my thoughts on your video.

I remember discovering about dreamcore, weirdcore, nightmarecore, etc one year before the backrooms and liminal spaces got popular. Funny enoght, I discovered cores and liminal spaces because of Roblox, lol. And I just fell in love with them. It's a good mix of eerie and confort. I think the backrooms fell off cause the majority of the ppl didn't understand what made the backrooms scary
