Picked up my first BCM in March and was blown away at the quality. 2 months ago I bought the 11.5 and it’s now my main rifle. Can’t go wrong with BCM.

I think dollar for dollar, BCM is very hard to beat. They are so well tuned, reliable, great QC and less than 2k. I was lucky to pick one up before the price hike at 1230.

If you can't afford a BCM for $1600, maybe a PSA lower and BCM Mk2 upper for $900. All you need is a charging handle from there

BCM also has cosmetic blems on occasion too. Was just over $600 for 14.5" MK2 blem this week.

I'd recommend running with the PSA Saber lower which ships with better parts than a basic mill spec. That way it'll bring up the quality to above average weapon system.

I just upgraded my dpms panther mod A-15 carbine to the bcm mkII upper with 16" barrel and mkII recoil mitigation tube and gunfighter grips all around. Mod 0 comp also. I'm completely impressed with BCM they have a customer for life.

Someone I know has the same two ! They also have far more expensive ones and like the ol Glock would pickup the bcms and Glocks over the _____ an______ that cost significantly more. RELIABILITY matters.

I have a BCM 14.5 mid length ELW that’s been going strong for 6 or 7 years now. Love it. Gassed pretty perfect with a carbine buffer. Mk2 looks sweet but won’t fit on my lmt mars lower.

I have a Silencerco SC15 lower with a Larue MBT on it. Leaning towards a mk2 bcm upper. Either 11.5 or 12.5

I used Geisele SSE triggers in my duty rifle, but tried a Larue MBT because it was more than 1/2 the price. I have to say that after break in, I don’t plan on buying another Geisele unless it’s withIN $20 of an MBT. After using Larue hanguards, mounts and other consumables, I know its quality is there. BCM is a no brained.

@@DSwizzy23 solid ballistic performance out to prob 500 yards (not as good as a 20 or even 16 but i believe its capable enough), shortest legal length (once u pin and weld a flash hider that takes the barrel to over 16 inches), and yet still fairly maneuverable if u need to use it in a tighter space. Basically its a jack of all trades IMO, and im just some idiot on the internet so anything should b taken wit a grain of salt. If u know guys who have a decent amount of trigger time and knowledge they could prob give u better advice. More purpose built rifles will accomplish all of the above listed uses better, but as i am 1 of the poors, i tend to look for a do all as opposed to buying a rifle for each situation. Anyways im rambling so if u got this far, best of luck to u my friend!

How was the ejection pattern without suppressor? Looks it was dumping brass at about 2 o'clock with the can on. I ask because my ELW upper is very overgassed. No can, I'm dropping brass as 1:30.

Bcm is hard to beat for the price point. The criterion barrels in the adm are nice too though. Horse a piece really but I'd probably go bcm mk2

That gas expansion area above the CH literally has a port facing the shooters face... serious gas to to face if youre not using a LBP can.

My 16” mk2 has been nothing but a solid performer. Wish they had more in stock. Slim pickings some times. I’m considering a pistol build. How did you settle on your barrel length?

You know the main thing I hate about the mk2? The forward assist is too close and tall to change the stupid dust cover. If the assist has to be there, the handguard side needs clearance. I'm not going to take off the entire HG to change a dust cover.

I feel like gas would be reduced if you tuned the rifle more. Maybe you’re trying to keep it reliable with and without a suppressor but that brass was ejecting pretty far forward.
