No exception knight! Though after all Danse have done in the name of the Brotherhood, way more than our characters, one could think to open an exception for him, least keep the guy under close watch or something

Making an exception would mean breaking the Brotherhood's code of ethics that has been established since Roger Maxson, even Danse commends you for being faithful to the order if you choose to obey Maxson. If one synth is spared regardless of his contributions then why even bother terminating them at all? So nothing personal

@@neworderadherent Fair point. Although the fact this is even the way they function now just proves they aren't working for the good of the commonwealth or its people ('people' including synths, since its already been proven by Danse being a knight alone that they have the potential to be considered equals). At some point it really does just become genocide 😓

@@selfawaretoast-yt I fully agree, i think that FO4 brotherhood is the most "morally questionable", to put it lightly. The game heavily implies that gen 3 synths really are basically human with conscience and unique personalities. When i'm not doing a BoS playthrough i tend to destroy them, though i do really like the fact that they're not meant to be portrayed as a goody-two-shoes faction like the minutemen or cartoonishly evil like say the enclave. They're somewhere in between
