It's all very well imparting the message that people need to care for the Earth, but you need to walk it like you talk it; in other words, why is it necessary to fly halfway around the world to give this message, producing loads of C02, when it can be given by video conference from Santa Marta, Colombia instead? That's what the detractors are going to say when you try to talk to them about treading lightly upon Mother Earth instead of driving everywhere and anywhere, jetting off abroad, and gobbling up lots of meat. That's the kind of conversation I've had with, for example, some of my workmates, who have simply replied that as the politicians and beaurocrats attending the annual I.P.C.C. all fly there individually in their private jets, why should they (my workmates) "give up driving or flying to Benidorm?" You might as well try to have a chat with a sheep. The people that really need to listen to this message are least likely to have attended this talk (online or otherwise) because they'd rather be watching Coronation St. or the football, making this a minority interest and making that one Kogi's flight over from Colombia near-pointless. I mean, there must be a better way to reach a wide audience. Even the last film, Aluna (to which I donated to help finance its production), seemed to get ignored, not being shown on t.v. and in cinemas as originally hoped, but only being available on dvd and (much later) free online. There was little discernable impact and it likely just preached to the converted. this stuff needs pushing onto t.v. and beyond, not being tucked away on a zoomcast by a niche anthropological society, and somebody has to make sure they can't be called a hypocrite. Otherwise? More of the same: Joe Public cheerfully exclaims how pleasantly mild it is this winter and continues to miss the point and deny the unfolding disaster. Anyway, ted talk over! Ideas, anybody?

This is such a rare ‘in person’ talk from a Mamo that personally i feel that comment makes no sense at all…. this is one young Mamo whom probably consumes a bare minimum of everything he will have a need for while in this country….. this planet/ world and our human species along with all others on the planet are at a moment in time, the beggining and ending of many more ‘cycles’ than most humans seem to have any conscious knowledge of…. This cycle of civilisation is at a turning point that has taken 12,525 years to get to… one half of a precessional cycle…. The magnetic poles are shifting - this occurs at the end and beginning of every half precessional cycle… the Kogi Mamos know this well .. they have observed the Younger Brother for a very long time… one seat on one flight from Colombia by a Mamo who’s only reason for this journey is to share the wisdom, insights and message of the truly wize Mamo’s with ‘westerners’ whom are living largely disconnected from the planet that supports all of our lives…. Really it’s nothing, and does not say anythjng with regards to ‘walking his talk’ - we all know this man walks his talk. He spent the first 14 years of his life in relative darkness eating only white foods, being taught daily about this world, this universe, the cosmos, many other subjects by adult Mamos. There are no more authentic dedicated highly aware humans on Earth than these fellows. To me personally the above point does not stand in any way whatsoever. No offence meant at all. All perspectives are valuable.
