The censorship and the VA for the game has had me very mixed. They really should of just made 5th game in series, and bring Chuck back.

Theres no erotica pp i know many will say so what but along with race swapping the butcher boss guy its put me off were becoming so sensitive in the west the Japanese are having to cater to the loons amongst us. This game is 1 of my favourites of the 360 generation but censorship man wtf

I personally think Larry being changed makes more story sense. Hear me out, Carlito's whole story was he wanted payback on the americans for causing the Santa Cabeza outbreak and murdering his people, all because the americans were looking for a way to mass produce meat. So, Carlito being killed by a american butcher with Carlito being surrounded by meat, makes more sense. Because if Larry was a foreigner, it removes an irony to Carlito's death. Also, where has it been confirmed that Erotica has been removed? I watched the directors report and they never commented on that. If they did, I must've missed it. Which if it is gone, I don't think it's a deal breaker. I want more dead rising games, so I'm making it a point to support this.

In early accses in picture taking tutorial all genres are included except of erotica plus they changed Kent saying "this is my sexiest shot,, to "my funniest shot,,

Been playing dead rising since it came out almost 20 years ago. Im only supporting this Remaster in the hopes we get more Capcom remasters. Supporting remaster like Onimusha we can hopefully get more games like Dino crisis and specially for me the remastering of Resident Evil outbreak.

I hope this game is a success and reboots the franchise Ngl would love for the story to continue and focus on Frank and Isebella cause lets face it when DR2 was made Capcom Vancouver wanted to focus more on their own characters like Chuck and Kate instead of Frank (He was relegated to what ifs)

As much as people dislike the 4th entry, it can be fun just slaughtering zombies in it, so I don't think it's as bad as people say, and hell, the DLC for the game literally focuses on just killing Zombies. Though, Frank West's VA in this Deluxe Remaster is the same from 4, who I didn't like as much as the OG VA. That said, I'm looking forward to this, as hopefully it means we will see a Deluxe Remaster of DR2, and hopefully it also includes Case: 0 an Case: West on it, as those are still exclusive to Xbox 360, though they are playable on Xbox One and Series via Backwards Compatibility.

My main concern is that Capcom is gonna dumb this classic down into woke slop and when this games active player count drops off a cliff after the first month theyll just go "Well CLEARLY this just proves that nobody wants dead rising anymore and has nothing to do with us bastardising this title in the name of DEI"

This game is my top five favorite games.... this is the last chance for the series i feel. I did enjoy 3, but it didnt feel like a dead rising game, and we dont talk about 4. They need to really focus on what made this game a cult classic, and run with it.

Not staying true to your original game that made your fans love your game and changing what they remember is bad game design. And it is not faithful to the original. I can live with the Larry bit, but I laugh every time I see the goofy deaths like a zombie munching down on someone’s region. It is hilarious and I can say, “Well, that is one hell of a way to go😂😂”

all the people that made dead rising great are long gone from capcom. we haven't had anything solid since the side games like case 0, the movies were bad, 3 was bad with 4 being worse specially when they put the end in a dlc.. legit had more fun with it's online mode than solo. Even the cut ideas sounded pretty lame like how dr 4 was originally going to be a futuristic parkour game or how 5 could have taken place in santa cabaza. even now they had all the source they needed and still bugged it up, 5 seconds into the trailer and the lighting is already messed up, it went from dim and warm to cool bright and vibrant totally butchering the horrific atmosphere. on it's own it looks nice, but it doesnt give me faith they understand the material they're working with, specially when they removed the pp bonus from erotic shots on zombies or whatever.

@@Cruddy129 on one hand it depends on the location, near me all the malls interiors are mostly white with white lighting. Besides that a mall itself shouldn't be vibrant but the shops themself to attract people as it stands out more. On the other hand it was a balanced design meant to be horrific with a touch of comical, like how at the intro you have zombies breaking in while there's a giant cartoonish bee sitting on the globe behind you. Ah yes let me go play a game I already said was shit. If you want over saturated vibrancy play off the record. Also the original games design was partially inspired by dawn of the dead, watch it and tell me how vibrant it is.

The censorship is a real turn off though. Race changed a boss because of Asian insensitivities (which is strange because it was a game made by Asians) and removing the Erotica photo category because the no fun police hate beautiful women and sexuality. Makes me wonder if anything else has been censored and they haven’t said yet.

No not really considering none of the female characters changed and they look the exact same with no alterations to their designs this includes the npcs if you wanna say its woke for taking out the erotica out fine but besides that there isnt any.

@@flegmis5629they most likely changed lary because it makes more sense narratively Carlito's last words were about how Americans are greedy and always hungry so fighting a Chinese guy in an amarican mall before felt off Making him a white guy makes a lot more sense should they have changed it maybe not but crying about one of the worst bosses in the game being changed to fit the story better and calling it woke and not buying the game because of it is just a bad take.

@@flegmis5629just like saying they wont buy the game because tj isnt the voice of frank even though its tj own damn fault for going on strike years ago not capcoms fault or they wont buy the game because the erotica feature isnt in the game the same feature that most people didnt even use more then five times in the og. The female characters still look great both main and npc females no censorship on them the gameplay is better the graphics are nicer we are getting more skins we can now fast forward time all the npcs now have voices rather then a few little words the lighting is amazing all those great changes yet people are crying because larry being changed to fit the story or franks voice tj and the erotica are gone like come on give me a break.
