just my opinion but I would like to see display backs on their dressier models starting with the Datejust. Of all their models I prefer the Datejust but I think the jubilee bracelet should have a clasp like the president's instead of like the sub, I see it as an everyday/dress model and the oyster clasp is out of character

The movement is not aesthetically pleasing hence Rolex doesn’t do glass backs. Rolex concentrates on the front and not follow others. The movements is functional . I read elsewhere the glass may increase the depth by 0.5mm which although is impossible to feel, shows the thinking behind the most famous watch brand . Hope this helps why Rolex does what it does best 👍
