On the same hand, I lived in Bradenton florida, how did an F-16 crash into somebody's house in the neighborhood in East bradenton? They said it was pilot error.

It amazes me how many times that top speed is claimed at 1.8. That was the F/A-18 Alpha thru Delta. All the extra power the Super Hornet got was negated by weight and drag. The Super Hornet's max speed is Mach 1.6 and that is in a clean configuration with 50% fuel.
