Based on the recent trend of live action reboots and remakes, ESPECIALLY animated remakes where they're "realistic and edgy" (staring at Disney and Netflix dead square in the eyes), I highly doubt this would even be below average.

But this is more of a retelling and the marvel movies have been excellent. Honestly I would like to see someone new take on the story. Issue with Disney reboots either they keep things the same to appease fans. Try to fix complaints random nobodies had with certain movies or not change them enough by keeping certain scene in but not understanding that if you change x then y can't be the same even if its a fan favorite scene.

demon king45 I'm not saying that I'm against remakes. Stuff like the modern MCU movies are great. The problem with these remakes is that the people in charge completely miss the point of the original animated source material. And plus, a lot of these remakes are only made for the sole purpose of nostalgia bait without putting actual effort into the story. So don't think I'm getting upset about the remake just because it's live action, I'm just more worried about the possible lack of effort put into the final product. And current Butch is not the same as he was when he first made Fairly Odd Parents, so I doubt he'd have the same spark as he did when he first made the series.

I said this before and I’ll say it again, cartoon reboots never work. I repeat NEVER work! Teen Titans Go and Thunder Cats Roar are drastically different in every way to the original and actively goes out of its way to offend the original fanbase, Ben 10 scraps 15 years of world building for a more cartoonish take while making the aliens less interesting to look at (Wildvine and Stinkfly, what did they do to you?), Powerpuff girls got rid of a stable character and just generally made a lot of really, REALLY questionable decisions and the list goes on. Odds are a Fairly Odd reboot will do something more than just a bit fairly odd it’s just another one to the pile, But hey the higher ups get their money and that’s all that matters these days.

The third one caught me off guard at how he just straight up falls into lava and burns to death. so does that mean that all the characters including timmy as a fairy are watching his own corpse slowly burn and sink into the magma? did he feel anything or did he just instantly turn into a fairy the moment he touched the lava.
