While Gregg deserves some credit he still earns a lot of criticism. Why didn't Reyna start and why did he wait so long to put subs in. England was tired early In the 2nd half and Gregg didn't try to capitalize with subs.

You could argue a 3-2 loss to England would be better because at least we could have confidence that the US can score goals. I say the same thing. This is not a league format where getting results against top sides is good for growth. The U.S. were the better team and didn’t test Pickford. It was two points dropped, not one point gained. That’s why I don’t understand U.S. fans celebrating this result. They would have been better off beating Wales and losing to England.

I can give credit for Berhalter’s system to defend today but he doesn’t have a good system that has creativity up front! That is why Gino Reyna hasn’t played yet, which is ridiculous!!! @@Chudsic no teams get "wiped the floor" with in WC football. Every game is hard. The problem is, many people think you're only a good team if you score 3 goals a game. Tournament football is about getting out the group, and then winning, just on penalties if they have it. Also managing energy levels is very important, especially later on in the Tournament. Plus, if anything England gave USA too much respect, feared their speed and sat too deep. There was no arrogance at all.

These are the experts who said Pulisic needs to take a step down at Chelsea, well he was out there with the best England has to offer and he outperformed all of them. It was very similar to the Scotland game at the Euros. England needed a point and didn't really got for it, could have lost but didn't.

Everytime international tourneys start I always wonder something, all of their squad is made up of players from the "best" league in the world, with exceptions to one or 2 players, and yet still they always underwhelm me everytime I watch them in every single game, obviously I missed the Iran game and I had to drop everything to watch the US game and as always they revert back to type, so either I'm just England's bad luck, or maybe these players aren't good enough or the coaching isn't good

Agreed...US seems to think they will win against Iran...would be pretty funny if they failed to beat them and Iran goes through😁
