I loved that era where Aftermath/Shady/G-uint were on top. we haven’t seen anything like that since where everyone on all three of those labels were hitting home runs from 1999 through 2006 . we’ve had rappers come out and be very successful on a solo tip, but we haven’t had a label where you had that many artists just blow up and be successful. Dre, 50 and Em all pitched in on that first Game album to make sure it was going to be a success and Game threw it all away and that was the last time he ever got a certification. I’m not saying he didn’t have good albums, but he’s been on a decline ever since. And what sad is it didn’t have to be that way he could’ve been up there on the level of Eminem and 50 Cent . I used to be a big fan of his but just on principle I can’t support dudes that run around stabbing people in the back for money and cloud that only did good things for him. His last album only did 11,000 units. He’s falling off pretty bad. And now Dr. Dre doesn’t have anything to do with him. That’s the only artist Dr. Dre has signed that he’s pretty much regretted signing and never wants to talk to you or ever again.
