Although I haven't owned a Goldwing touring model, I did own the Rune, which used the same motor with a slightly different tune. Long legacy of reliability, excellent dealer network and history of innovation, such as the airbag model. Having said that, doesn't, for whatever reason, seem to capture the motorcycling spirit with riders, as does Harley, BMW, Indian, et.al. Nevertheless, an excellent machine, well worth the investment.

Which is the best touring motorcycle according to you? If shelling out around $30k for a touring bike I would surely take the Honda Gold Wing Tour with DCT. I had the opportunity to ride one extensively for 14 days over various environments and I truly appreciate the plush luxury feeling of riding the Gold Wing DCT tour. Waiting for the 2025 model line up, having said that, Honda has really hit a Homerun. The Bike is definitely designed for the U.S. Highways. From Point A to Point B, this bike puts a smile on your face. The extended warranty is flat out the best in the industry. A total of 8 years unlimited miles. The bike begs to be ridden.
