I got that card it might be a ten or a nine It is the 1952 topps the sad thing about the card I can't find it the last time I had my hands on it was five years ago I showed it to a guy and offered it to him for 750.00 but he said he didn't have that much cash on him . I have being thru boxes of cards that I have but can't seem to find it I got one large tok box to check I'm hoping the card is in it

I'm not sure, but I think most of the very high grade Mantles in existence came from the Massachusetts find bought by Alan Rosen in the 80s. Talk about seller's remorse! That transaction might make for an interesting video!

Short prints"...that alone gets it up there. Low volume almost always adds to it.....such as the Wagner (Honus)...Hell, the baseball card collecting industry (and comic industry) OWES a huge debt to Mothers everywhere. They alone made the cards collectible with them tossing them out, giving them away, etc. Leave it to a woman..... Here's the big question - did a woman EVER get her money back on a pair of shoes or a purse?

Growing up I had a cuz-n that spent every nickel , dime , quarter in base ball cards he was the only neighborhood kid that did that I want to go get in the loaf of their house just to see if the cards are up there but he left home on bad terms and his mother might had thrown his stuff away .

@@waltermcneill2135 Yup - classic...Mother's and Grandmother's literally created the collectible's market. But shit - DON'T even TOUCH even ONE of their fucking set of shoes or ask them to throw a set out. Love how women can't see the value in baseball cards (or other collectibles) -which is something you can usually sell and get money for. But my question is THIS -Has ANY of them EVER got a nickel back for ANY of their damn sets of shoes they fill the closet with? I highly doubt it.....short of the shoes Dorothy wore in "The Wizard of Oz"..
